Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Fair enough Mel. All the best for the future
No, that’s not what I’m saying at all. Thanks though.
Mel, when you say “… and telling the story everything will be rosy in the US!!” I get the opposite impression from the recent RNS’. The tone of certain paras tell me that they are trying to put investors off ‘their’ journey, presumably because they want PIs to sell up at these ridiculous prices.
*their
I never said they have our best interests at heart. Quite the opposite in fact; they loathe us! But, there greed could be our gain long-term
Sorry *sever ties with their public investors
The pressure is increased on a private business - for them to sever ties with their private investors and go private, for however long this may be, there must be a degree of confidence that this will do well. Otherwise, the level of required further investment won’t be there and they will go bust very quickly. This £100k tells me they don’t see this company going bust anytime soon, and moreover, there are real prospects of everyone still invested making a significant ROI in time. Bigger risk = bigger reward an’ all that. But I get why this tastes bitter for some. Very much a personal choice now as I’ve said before.
It’s a no brainer really Aimigo. No one puts in £100k unless they are confident of a return at many multiples of that. For a Director to do this at this stage is a show of confidence in the future of the business.
£100k? Pocket change lol
If you can make some extra wedge before de-listing, why the hell not! Good luck to you
Ask yourselves a question do they have a motive, either as a paid [de]ramper, or a[n] investor [Day Trader] desperate to push up [and down] the share price?
For those, like me who hold in a Lloyds Banking Group Shares ISA:
“…in order for you to register your vote you will need to call our contact centre on the number below where one of our agents will be able to register your vote.
Regarding the holding of the delisted stock, you would not be able to hold them in an ISA unless they re-listed on a recognised exchange, whilst delisted they will be moved to your non ISA ( CMC) account with us.
I can confirm we do trade on the NASDAQ via our international trading tab on the online dealing screen, please be aware a W8-Ben form is required for trading in the US.”
I have now registered my vote
[As Italian drops the mic and exits stage right]
No not yet AP - mine are in a Lloyds / Halifax ISA account. Anyone else got the same?
That’s my concern too! Much better for the directors if they get all our consideration shares by default, following the dissolution of the company (which they say will happen in any event if the vote isn’t passed).
Have you received the letter yet then? I’ve not
Wasn’t me Aimigo! I’m happy with my lot now
Holiday - I’d suggest waiting until after de-listing / consolidation
Sorry sweetheart, but I will give it a rest when you and your boyfriend do likewise. No doubt you’ll both carry on posting on here even after de-listing. Do you still hold shares?
People’s views don’t really matter on here, however passionate or patronising; even those who own no shares and have zero financial interest in NAPS yet still post daily essays. This is unless you are day trading, which is fine of course; fill your boots. They are moving to the states with or without us. It really is that simple. Everyone needs to make up their own mind whether they are on board for the long haul (hold) or not (sell).
