Landowner, the CEO basically sold nothing yesterday, as far as I'm aware he can't sell in these circumstances and those particular sells were for tax liabilities

As we know the major shareholders and basically the lenders will decide if Sidara get Wood, either way this failing board are soon to be out once and for all, and no matter what Sidara are telling them today on their future (if they get control) they'll be chewed up and spat out anyway. The board is failing not Wood's workforce and it's quality of work.

I know the board have screwed it up but is it worth remembering in all this chaos regarding the review that someone on that board/management initiated the process

Bob, after reading your posts, I think you know like some here with the right board in place Wood can most definitely be turned around, if that happens it's happy days for those long term holders with high averages who as it currently stands are devastated, best wishes to you all on that.

This chat board has become a cesspit, very much like the Wood board itself.

There is no way a third party coming in to mix here can be disregarded, many will know Sidara's offer is a cheap one and it's already been commented on. Sidara will have ripped shareholders off with the lots of help from the Wood board if they get control of this business at the current discussed price, many know it.

I can do this to try and include the 🙄 but I guess I will be accused of something else 'Have a Happy Egg festival and Merry Easter one and all

And to add one reason why I'm holding... Two global organisations have knocked on the door of Wood for wanting the business for a reason, that reason the quality company it is, we now know both walked away because they discovered first hand the BOD and top management were failing in their duties, Mike Straughen has spoken and there is no denying it now. One of those global organisations is back for a reason and not because Wood is failing it's because the BOD is falling.

Wood going in to suspension is neither near or there now in my opinion as Woods issues are a mess and finally being revealed and coming to a head, we will all eventually know the outcome. Personally, I'm holding all my stock, many companies have found themselves in situations like Wood and have been turned around and yes many have been broken up at shareholders expense too but in my opinion Wood can be turned around on home soil rather than have overseas poachers take it on to do the job.

I'm fortunate not to be one of the longer long term holders/employee here who have invested a great deal in this business and I'm sad and sorry for them, one particular poster here I noticed has been devastated by this situation and it comes to mind regularly, I just hope for all of them this can be turned around on home soil.

As for the ones who obviously post and enjoy the pleasure of seeing this down fall and don't tell me there isn't any because there is, it's not on their conscience because they don't have one in life.

I was able to read the full article earlier but must have been a glitch as it is behind a paywall.

The board were approached for a reply/comment on his interview but obviously didn't want to, of course not because they know he's spot on. Sidara getting the business on the cheap says Mike Straughen.

Mike Straughen seems a genuine man in life speaking for employees and shareholders, not like the majority out there.

Under the current circumstances being as bad as they are, that article is good news in my opinion.

That article could be perfect timing, Board out, Sidara out, New team discuss with lenders and institutions. Save Wood from overseas poachers.

Just eat and drink with pleasure and enjoy as many chocolate eggs as you can over the Easter holiday and if it kills you then you no longer have to worry about your Wood shareholding 😂
