Hey Terry, where do you get the US short info from?

The share price is still not reacting to the high gas price. The market has missed it. We can expect higher revenue and profits during the next update. For once I feel that DEC is a great hold and can see a nice upside in the near future.

Still no SP bottom in sight. There surely has to be one. This business has working, revenue generating assets. Agree with you TREK, the insiders should be loading up, even if it's to sit back and rake in the dividend cash. No shorters in sight for this sector so maybe they are too nervous to jump in, knowing at some point fundamentals will win the day.

I wonder if DEC will do more buybacks now? If nothing else they may try and prove the move to primary US listing was successful. Maybe worth a punt to buy in the UK today and see where the US takes us.

Gas price holding firm. Un-hedged revenue must be a lot better than expected. Future hedge pricing looks good.

With high gas prices, strong demand and dividend fast approaching, I would expect the share price to have increased further. Large daily drops could be a leak of a Rusty deal. Maybe a UK clear out before the primary listing is changed to the US? Or just the traders playing the trend.

It's hard to predict the future gas demand + supply + political movements. What's not to hard to predict is that Dec will be working on the next acquisition and the subsequent market sell off just before and after it happens. A clear trend over the last few years.

We have all been caught up in what the SP could achieve one day. Most experts have the SP target way beyond our humble wishes. Apart from Rusty, he really does not give a damn. Until he goes, it's for the trader not the long term invertor. Think about getting out soon and come back in the £9s.

Finally a week of US support.

Buying the shares at this price should be quite low risk to reward. Take out the emotion and look at the fundamentals. The business has already invested in a resource that will generate energy for a long time. Operational costs are very low. Debt is covered by revenue + excess for dividends. A question mark on the actual future revenue number but the worst case is still leaving an excess. The SP to NAV discount is so high that a sale or takeover should be good news to investors. Or the UK politicians may actually get behind UK energy supply and not encourage gas and oil buying from America.

A full sale must now be considered. No cheap credit available and it would be stupid to issue new shares at such a discount.

Can see the SP falling much further as the NAV easily covers any proposals + some buffer for more Labour rug pulls.

US pulling down the SP as usual. Impossible for the SP to reflect the market conditions until the giveaway shares are fully cleared. And even then, it will take a long time for the market to regain any confidence that DEC/Rusty will not trash it again. Shame as everything looks very promising for gas suppliers.

Only positive about having Rusty in the driving seat is the ability to trade. Not a company to buy and hold.

Money's not an issue as we saw in the update. High revenue & EBIT.

DEC has the proven firepower to take out the shorts with an aggressive share buyback.

Another big gas price rise. Surely DEC SP has to react!
