Quay - You have got my disease symptoms ! When it comes to years of reading and hearing screw-up on this I totally get your point. The level of long term incompetence and at best bad luck is breathtaking. I am not in this big time so its still slightly funny !

Its impossible to say without intimate knowledge of the company structure. But I would say if it was set up as a wholly owned subsidiary it would probably have working capital loans and as such the debt obligation should go with the subsidiary, UNLESS a deal was done for all or part payment in the purchase agreement...

What worries me is the BCN effect - ie SP very depressed for a period of time and someone comes along with a low-ball offer which looks okay because the SP was low anyway !

No thanks mate I'm more sensible now after 10+ years in this -- no more AIM junior miners or so called investment companies -- you can get well over 4% on cash now with none of the bile and anger this sort of rubbish investment gives !!!

Thats the maddening thing really, but there are many other AIM shares like this too, ie huge NAV tiny MCAP I have a couple of ITs trading at 50% discount -- trouble is people have to want to buy em to add value...

17,000 per ton should be a warning to us - meaning battery materials need to stay affordable !

I have cautioned people about getting to turned on by the lithium rhetoric. Firstly this isnt really about Lithium and secondly its miles away from shipping battery materials and thirdly I'm still waiting for a Li junior to come good. The core investment here Is Tantalum the Li thing is just marketing froth IMO...

daniel - I admit I never had the political makeup to make it to the top. But I have been pretty successful in my life financially up to my retirement. In fact aside from my career in the tech industry I set up a company in my spare time with loose bits of cash which I sold for over £200K - you on the other hand see yourself as a bit of a keyboard warrior and mr unpleasant which has been recognised by others on this board. I would suggest you continue to bathe in you own bile for a bit longer !

daniel - so are you saying Nick was a reasonable CEO then ? I held moderately senior positions in a couple of large corporates in the tech industry, and I saw 3 main types of CEO 1) The politician that had clawed there way there and didnt know how to do the job when they got there 2)The figurehead that wasnt really a businessman but was very good at frothing things up for the stock market and most commonly 3)The CEO who saw a 2-3 years term where they could enrich themselves as much as possible until they got found out and even then got a golden parachute - I personally never saw a really good one in my industry. We seem good at criticizing them because so few are actually good !

JIM - I think you are pretty much on the money here. My expectations are that the BoD have some degree of professionalism unlike another BoD from a couple of years ago (BCN) who just jumped at the first low-ball offer. My view is any offer is a starting offer !

Thing is you cant truly research this type of share (contrary to what the various pundits say) so the P&D guys have a lot of free rein if they can make convincing 'faction' posts...
