This means you have to plough even more cash into this to average down from the ultra-low SP now ! This cant be pitched as a good thing. If it drops to 5p that'l mean there's loads of upside from 5p ! IF the SP was between 20 and 30p I would say talk of upsides may be reasonable, but there is always upside on a 'bombed-out' SP ! And its time for a reminder that 3 years ago thereabouts we were being told when Amapa was signed of this would fly - remember ???

I do get why they would for several reasons, it may be a bot trade made because profit target was met or just day traders not interested in the back-story of the company but seeing their 5 or 10% being made. There are many people out there that only look at charts and dont WANT to know whats under the bonnet....

Well I have seen a lot of Cons on AIM but on the face of it this is just a super- majority shareholder doing whatever they dam-well like. IN fact I would go further and say they are more or less getting he rest of the company for a dirt cheap price. I am not invested here but noticed the effect this had on one of my other investments....

They keep on and on doing what look like great deals but never deliver any growth or cash returns to shareholders but on paper have huge NAV. If we dont get cash returned (which I am not expecting) or an elevated share price, where does that leave us ? Creek and Paddle comes to mind !

Ive been here since 2016 and nursing a considerable loss despite averaging down. I would take 2p now which still leaves me with a bit of a loss but I am fed up with the never ending story of these so called investment companies !

md - the only thing I would say is that the BoD have bought a shedload of shares at prices twice the current price, this is sadly the only positive I can see...

I think the latest RNS says the 10.5p ship has sailed. It looks like the BoD are doing a reasonable job here !

I was in KOD years ago but decided to exit and not build a position as at the time it just looked like another AIM basket case. But 4 1/2 years on it seems to be doing okay while stuff many thought was great eg EMH + KDNC + KZG are not !

Pretty sure you are right but it would take a fairly determined investigation to prove it and we all know FCA are not up to it. AIM shares are ripe for this as it doesnt take a lot of financial horsepower to massage them. You couldnt do same with a FTSE 100 or even 250 company.

I think we all need to write to SFO and report this as a fraud !

I asked JP Jenkins why they have a company on their books that WILL NOT communicate with shareholders and cannot be contacted by any other means other than postally -- which they also dont respond to.

Fair value for a 'normal' main market share is ave current SP x 1.5 - 1.6. However in the case of a AIM minnow miner like this its not so straightforward as BFS value has to come into it. For this to be sold at SP x 1.6 would be a true crime. In the case of BCN lets not forget the SP was manipulated down by a placing and then the placing cash went to the buyer in the buyout so not only a low ball offer, but loads free treasury cash in with the deal !
