The NHS isnt crap, they have done wonderful work for me... What the NHS is is a giant fragmented and badly led organisation. It does too many things that help it to tie itself in knots (like anti-smoking and weight loss surgery etc etc) and also does not recover enough cash from health tourists coming here to have babies/surgery etc etc.
I have a friend who is a clinical consultant and head of a major department in a major NHS trust and he has told me on a number of occasions that if the clinicians were left to run the hospital they could do so quite well on the budget they get.
From what I have seen its really nursing and the leadership of nurses where a lot of problems exist in NHS hospitals and general practice.
I think there will be a dribble back to private offloading, and in my area it is still going on, in fact to Spire Hospitals.

Frankie I agree that its a pity more people cannot make it to the AGM and express their displeasure in person, I wish I had last year had I known how bad this was going to get.
My excuse is that I was moving house to another part of the UK at the time which was a little bit more important as you can imagine especially given all of the clutter we had accumulated over 18 years ! To my mind the Bank Hol Tue is quite deliberately designed by them to ensure minimum attendance.

Dont care if you dont want to sign I'm not twisting your arm, but we have over 50 investers who can show their displeasure as to KM's activities as CEO. WE can not force him to stand down unless we all get together and add up to over 50% of the issued shares, but at least we would be doing something other than giving him asmooth ride in the job which we have up till now.

I disagree here ! Secker has hit the buffers recently, but other than this he has been a systematic and methodical CEO. Why should he help KDNC they tried to take control ?

Very good post, AIM is littered with junior oilers that spend years talking about permits and seismic studies and never flow a drop. Idiens has been 100% in this camp, this outfit is a million miles from finding oil..

I see we have another 12 signatories -- I think I can submit this soon...As I've always said KM is undoubtedly a good geologist but definately not a company CEO.

We are talking hundreds of millions just to build a production level plant and to buy some quarry machines and employ more staff, how does this stack up ? This is an open cast operation after all where would the money go ?

As is the case with most inactive very small cap AIM stocks. In fact I would bet that the MM's have a Monday morning meet over coffee to discuss which low activity AIM stocks they are going to pump this week !

IVY - do you think this can last long enough for the plan to come to fruition given the cash-burn ?

Yes there is a hard-core of stalwarts here that don't mind standing on the deck of a burning ship but I always said we should have a shareholder revolt. At the very least we should thin out one of the over-paid muppets running this.

What I would like to know is why do they need such a vast amount of cash to build this operation ?
