Quantas - You are eluding to the fact that I hate all continental Europeans - not true and a conclusion that remainers always seemed to draw to during Brexit. I just hated the beaureacracy and people that tended to man the EU organisation and the fact that it seemed we were in a club that we COULDNT exit.

Under normal circumstances it says - this is going to be good, however under the current circumstances it might say "I want to make a fast 18% profit" !

Spent months in Cyprus over the years in several jobs. Back in 91 ish I worked at the Satellite earth station on the way to Nicosia for ESA all through the summer. Great memories, still a lot of UN Greek and British military then but the landscape has changed somewhat when I was there 3 years ago.

Borderbob - Yes there is tearing going on here, but if you look deeper at Brexit and the EU you will see that the EU is a nasty spiteful and anti-democratic organisation, and we are well rid of them as their post Brexit activity shows in spades ! Yes the scots are being fired up for independance by some - but the Scots are respected and smart people and we hope they have more sense. The opposition party in the UK is now such a mess (of their own making) there is no opposition !

User - I'm not going to get into a big argument about this, but yes there is no harm in being optimistic but when this rose-tinted optimism and ramping spans so many years it get wearing. On every share BB there seems to be a resident crew who dont like any negativity, but thats not democracy I'm afraid. I will agree to rein in my attacks on Fortitude as long as you acknowledge freedom of speech !
