Not as many times as people have said i'll multi-bag and any day now !!!!
How many years have we been hearing this -- anyone ??
Yes its hilarious people on her really believe they will ever get a return from all this BS ! As coincidence would have it, the episode of Only Fools and Horses where Del and Rodney finally make it was on last night and the phrase 'one day Rodders' certainly applies to this piece of AIM dog doo doo !
Ev - and dont forget excessive use of rapid charging will shorten the life of an Li battery, rather like the analogy of long term use of corticosteroids causes bone decalcification !
Bannor -- ... "and are free to express it as they choose"......apparently not according to some !
And will any of the present investors gain from this circa £600K payback -- not on your collective nellie !!!!!!
I got out of this years ago but look in occasionally to find - amazingly there are still people who think this will deliver the bacon -- I would say baiting Rose Tinted AIM investors should be a new olympic sport !
I think it is too early to say she is a disaster, but I would have preferred and outsider to have taken the reins but clearly no one was up for the challenge !
AS I said earlier, Read was an idiot to let the company get so debt ridden by anyones standards. The Issa brothers are purposely doing this with Asda and Morrisons to suit their own un-ethical ends !
The capital intensity strategy of the sniveler that used to run this co has really come home to roost. Was he so dumb that he thought bank rates would be sub-subterranean forever ! We do breed some terrible businessmen in the UK !
Huge number of settled trades well after hours - looks good for the morning...
EV - I do a 200+ mile journey about every 3 weeks so not a flash in the pan ! Next time you are in the motorway services have a look at the price of EV electricity -- not a pretty story and not far off buying a tank of petrol. If the furthest I normally went was say Bristol then an EV may have suited me but for now I regularly go to W London, SW Birmingham and SW wales so some heavy mileages in a day, and an EV may make the day just too long.....
Oh and I forgot to say that towing anything other than a tea bag with an EV really puts most of them into tilt mode. My advice is think carefully before buying an EV 'bargain' and believing the stated range !
@EV Bull - Actually looking at my own car which now has 23K miles on it and comparing it to exact replacements in age, I was amazed to see that my car has depreciated only about £7k as I bought well and bought nearly new ! Whilst you are technically correct that the journey is do-able on the charging of EV's, but why would I want to hang around for an extra couple of hours buying vastly expensive coffee and food ! EV's have become cheaper because the insurance on them has sky-rocketed if you havent noticed. Cars and car dealing are something I am quite knowledgeable about and on this occasion a cigar really is a cigar - to para-phrase Sigmund Freud. I may yet get an EV but as yet in my opinion they are not good enough and very expensive if you want a nice one.
I just want my old ROSE shares to rise to the point where they would buy a pub-meal !
Totally my view also. I spent £48K on a car 2 years ago and did look at EV's. But I have done several journeys that whilst possible in an EV would have been hours longer, eg Devon to Gatwick & back and Devon to Heathrow & back. What the EV people dont tell you is they state range, but its in ideal conditions and NOT at usual UK motorway speeds. But I do think that in a couple of years present EV's will look obsolete. My view is 'never be an early adopter of tech'.
Never get into AIM shares this deep !! They are designer dog-dirt for the most part and should only be a 'fun' part of a portfolio !
This is why II's (apart from the dodgy ones) dont invest in these types of shares and the cash has to come from Joe Bloggs SIPP. There are no real accounts to look at whats really going on is a closely guarded secret right up to their regulatory obligations and it usually jam tomorrow or jam in the next decade !
I have tried to average down on this for years and are still well underwater - but hey whats good enough for Nick Leeson is good enough for me ! This share has thorns all over it....
Used to hold this about 5 years ago and sold at a small loss. The performance since is a bit alpine really isnt it. The £2.4m tiny MCAP may make it ripe for a buy out I think...
