I think we are reading more into this than exists, meaning that the ZNWD were the least painful way of making the deal a tiny bit less crappy. The way thus has gone though I do wonder if we have been hoodwinked by Seckers team for years and there is something about the whole project they have skilfully not told us.

Seems small potatoes unless you have a huge number of shares I would be surprised to see most hedge funds bothering with something like this but I may be wrong...

EV - bull you really ought to start saying 'in my opinion' in your posts. Also how will these II's make an immediate profit on the share price unless you are factoring in the ZNWD shares. And I definately wouldnt use the word 'easily' as the last time I looked they were struggling to get to 50% -- please dont post an agenda as facts !

Ironic isnt it, our share price is being caned for a commodity price slump on a commodity we dont own !

VOD seems to be behaving like a 'no real prospects' AIM stock instead of a potentially world beating telecom stock. I used to live in Vodafone country (Newbury) a couple of years ago and knew of fairly senior employees and ex employees and the general consensus was that the 'juice' had been sucked out of the company in the late 90's early noughties by various greedy execs, rather like what happened to C&W before VOD were able to buy that. Personally I struggled to see (from a technical perspective) how Vodafone achieved much value from this purchase as their main issues were access to cell sites and the C&W network wasnt going to help them much with this.

EV - If you sold up some time ago why are you posting here ? I will wager there is always a reason and an agenda behind your posting .
