Looking more closely at the AGM motions it appears they want people to vote on the issuance of 50% more shares, but worded in the usual woolly RNS way...

Just had another look at the web site and the resolutions are in the Notice of Agm document, I have to say resolutions 5+6 dont quite make sense to be as yet..

I am only still an invester because I need to claw back losses on some of my legacy REM shares, as is the case in investing 101 if you sell you crystallise loses (assuming you dont need the cash) and maybe there is just a change that this wont screw-up !!!!!!

daniel - I dont deny covid at all, but my view is it deadliness is over stated by the media and the figures given are distorted. People get sick and the very old die of many things. My father who was a very fit 84 year old died of the NHS not diagnosing a fairly obvious condition until the 11th hour which was too late. Therefore the NHS whining about being busy doesnt cut any ice with me really, but the BBC give them centre stage every evening just about on the news.

They will clearly not get to 75% under their own steam, if they bump up the offer a bit I will sign. Wasnt what I wanted to do but I'll compromise.

Agree - never heard of a buyout offer that wasnt extended to all shareholders before ....

I detect a bit of 'media induced' covid hysteria here. I am 61 and in my life I have never seen greater manipulation of the population mostly by the BBC. I am guessing they are using very similar psychology to that of WW2 Britain. I looked after my mum who is 91 all through the height of Covid even though she lives 195 miles away and at no time did either of us ever worry about catching this plague ! Yes I do know a couple of people that had it and were poorly, but sometimes getting poorly is part of life !
