fozdog - I am confused I am only stating I was surprised to get the ZNWD shares as I hadnt accepted ????

This could be the perfect Lithium storm. The chinese skillfully get hold of the large BCN resource, RIO buy a huge mine in Argentina making the statement 'making a push into battery metals', chances are if one super-major is doing it others will. The only issue is that if an offer is received for ZNWD a) It will be managed better than the crappy low-ball BCN deal b) If it is looking dodgy the respective government will do a better job of protecting a strategic asset than the UK govt did.

I havent accepted but still got the ZNWD shares ????

davemonk - Thats why its always wise to never have 'too many shares' in any one AIM company given whats happened here and many other AIM shares. Most AIM directors are skirting the boundaries of corporate decency when getting involved in an AIM startup anyway ! My BCN shares come to around £70k but when I hear people talking about having £200-300K in an AIM share my skin goes all crawly ! (but some of these people are just lying of course)

johnp - did you see the way ZNWD did the placing last week, they issued the RNS to not really be visible till 17:00 and gave people till 20:00 to decide whether to take the offer. Many feel this was sharp practice as you would not be looking for an RNS on a 'quiet' share half an hour after market close. It was designed IMO to make it look like 'we love all you PI's so we are letting you in' but making it unlikely many would get chance. Anyway no matter you could buy at or below the placing price anyway.

People seem to be confused over on the ZNWD board and its certain that some think these shares are an equity issue as opposed to just an ownership change...

I dont think the boat is designed for what we know as offshore work ie mega depths and 20M waves. The boat is just a barge that can drill in very shallow water that you'd otherwise get your feet wet in !

A smorgasbord of good news items ! So if they flow a deep and to a lesser degree get signoff on the export prices, the outlook is brilliant back into double figures..

This is one interpretation, but another interpretation is that the offer can be revised which would not constitute a new offer...

So I'm assuming if PI's are still holding out they wouldnt want to run the risk of holding delisted 'near to impossible' to trade shares, or am I missing something ?

Iby -- its nice to see someone who broadly shares my view. My holding is small here now so I am only watching in amusement this has been a comedy of errors as companies go.

Which makes me think they got stuff we dont know about ? But either way I have never so far seen such contempt for shareholders by a BoD in any company. I hope Secker never gets asked to run anything bigger than a pre-school play group - but unfortunately we now live in an age where the under-performing are rewarded.

2mustard - How easy it is to say this when if you looked back at posts 5 years ago there were people including me saying exactly the same thing. Dont get me wrong I wish everyone does well in this and other shares, but AIM BBs are littered with people who think they have researched well - again no offence but anything you research on an AIM share is tenuous at best, most AIM bods can give the CIA a run for their money on secrecy and misdirection ! You only have to wade through the UKOG bulletin board to see this.

Anyone who doesnt realise AIM is a cess-pit is deluded. It took me quite a few years to realise this. Picture this, why are most companies started on AIM - answer because no sane person will finance them. If you were to start and AIM company and managed to keep it going for 6 or 7 years drawing a standard CEO salary - what have you got to lose when it goes pop ?? The genuine investers have been in this for about 5 or 6 years and things just never improve even after the RNS we get today. People talk of averaging down but there is such a think as nuffs-enuff my average is about 3.2p but no more of my cash is going in here until they come up with some real hard cash messages. - So yes Axe to Grind !
