Uncertain - You are right on all points. The Germans are panicking in case he turns off the gas, Putin is playing a big game of chess and IMO has no intention of invading Ukraine, but he is loving all the chaos and attention !

Once Putin stops threatening to shoot up the Ukraine and bring back the Soviet Union everything will go fine !

I hope you are right from the PoV of being a KDNC shareholder, but given how Ganfeng work they will want this off KDNC for peanuts and will play hardball if they dont get it for peanuts, and given how KDNC work they will probably just cut their losses !

Re - BCN jv, my view is Ganfeng will offer us a song for it and if we say no it will just sit there till hell freezes over. Its basic commerce and the way Ganfeng roll. If you look at a car on a forecourt and offer the realer 50% of the stocker price and he says no and wont budge - what can you do, he holds all the cards you do not !

I would say 'note to self' dont buy into an AIM company run by a House of Lords smoozer !

Good post, I'll concede that most placings are a much better deal for II's than this one, they usually want a very de-risked buy-in. So very positive for EMH. It just the carpy way AIM reacts thats a problem. It always lags all of the other markets.

BB - I have about 50% of the value of what I had in BCN in ZNWD and bought way before the forced sell-out of BCN. ZNWD is a perfectly nice little investment but yes it is a shame that prat Secker has anything to do with it !

Malik - I utterly agree with you here. Once a company gets to more than a certain MCAP AIM is damaging to the stock. In the case of BCN as a separate topic, yes their placing was quite strategically designed to drop the SP so that Ganfeng could come in with an offer that was a significant premium to a manipulated-down share price. The BoD of BCN in minea and many others opinion where colluding with Ganfeng on this and I dont think we will ever find out what they were getting out of it other than continued employment perhaps !?

Makes very little change to the company, BUT it does mean that there are some presumably savvy investers willing to take a very large chunk of the company which shows pretty good confidence in the future...

Trouble with skyrocketing Li prices is that worthwhile EV's are already pricey and this is always attributed to battery costs. If costs go much more mental alternative tech will be looked at such as Hydrogen IC or Hydrogen Fuel Cells....

Bannor - as I've said previously I bumped into this guy on another board and he really put my back up. He bounces onto a board tries to portray he is a professional and analytical investor and proceeds to try and squeeze out any poster with dissimilar views on the basis that 'nanny knows best' !

I have been waiting over a week for about £10k from BCN and have told HL to chase. Its one thing being forced to liquidate an investment on the cheap but when they make you wait for the cash its like beeing kicked in the goolies as well as slapped in the face !

I have thrown in the towel also I thought long and hard and couldnt see anything good for me coming out of this situation and seeing such a large sum of cash lying idle for a further indeterminate period got too much for me. Funny thing is I just read a newsletter from Dear Retail Investers talking about how good Li miners are as an ongoing investment. They didnt mention BCN but it does make whats happened grate further. I wrote numerous emails and a letter to Secker and never got any response. So I will go on considering he is a corrupt feck of a man forever !!
