Dutch gas now approaching €70

Imagine if we were producing, what was it, 3000boepd??

Would have paid for itself with a few months at these prices!

Still in here and PMG in my SIPP KO.

Fully loaded there, just no leverage and a bunch of cash in my trading accounts. I also have some Puts on the US indices.

It’s just my view on US. The rest of the world, and real things like oil and gas look good to me over the medium term.

I think there is a good chance we will see a crash in the US. inflation will start to hit earnings and equities will start to look (even more) over priced. The reality is starting to become clear - prolonged supply chain problems, higher taxes, withdrawal of stimulus, potentially higher rates.

When is anyone’s guess, but I think the BTFD crowd are weak and once the selling starts it could go deep. AIMVHO!

Yes, most peeps written this one off I think? Performance of the SP has been terrible, particularly since the new top tier BOD came in IMHO

Yes we are due a correction in US markets and there are plenty of excuses out there for it. China, inflation, taper, debt ceiling, earnings.

Everything will get marked down if it is a proper serious crash obviously, but being in European oil and gas shares should be relatively safe in the medium term.

Hi AA - think PMG just flying under the radar. They have a small Dutch gas interest at about 500 boepd.

Historically it has kept the cash balances topped up and allowed the purchase of the renewables land. Now building up a very nice cash pile on top of the £25 million that is in the bank.

They also have development ready Platypus gas field with Calenergy (Berkshire Hathaway) which could come online in the next 2 to 3 years.

When TC starts spending the money the SP should really fly!

I see Dutch gas up another 7% today. Our top BODs must be kicking themselves. PMG now looking well placed (they have actually followed through on the gas / renewables strategy!)

Except anyone who knows the first thing about the company?? They hit guidance, and came in at what everyone who watches tankers and the OGA assumed they would.

The drop was predictable because the market and analysts are dumb.

Chris - you are dreaming if you believe 75% funded to production.

The problem for me is that the BOD over promised and under delivered. And continue to over promise.

They claimed to be in a position to make this a mid cap.

Ruvuma is out of their hands, except that they have the choice whether to hold (and spend cash) or sell and invest in something else that they do control.

There is always a choice.

Chris - please take this as a well intentioned post. I am not Dan Maling. You could get yourself in some trouble by spreading rumours like that if some of these companies pick it up. My advice would be to take a break from the boards and get a bit of perspective.

Yes the board need to go, and this was all spoken about here months ago. “Oh just give them a little more time” etc etc.

I think we all know that the EAG deal doesn’t come close to solving any of SCIRs problems.

Anyway, we need a big hitter like Chris to get involved if we any the BOD removed. Sadly he seems to have his head in the sand, and would rather dream up conspiracy theories to explain the company performance!!
