On 11/9 last year the Results were released & the need to raise further funds was clearly stated & reference was made to exploratory talks with a number of potential strategic investors re potential partnerships in addition to discussions with major shareholders & new potential financial investors & "other capital sources".4/12/17 the placing was announced & there were no new strategic investors ( that we were told about) & 2 or 3 IIs took 100mill+ in the placing -& have done very well out of it ( & we know that Miton have cashed in some of their substantial profits).
We may have hoped that Jacks appointment would have encouraged a strengthening of our SP but subsequently & following Kens visit to London our SP has weakened substantially & we must be aware of the possibility that we will need to raise more funds,possibly not for a few months,but the talks have to begin & despite the Insider Dealing laws there are those in the know who may have been locking in profits.We have expanded our workforce substantially & I am sure that we all understand that we may need more capital ( & hopefully a final fundraise before profitability) & I would hope that if that is the case, this time we will be able to bring in truly strategic investors who will help us achieve our ambitious growth plans (for global domination)& lend further credibility to our substantial offering.
VSI are a substantial & (so far) supportive shareholder , but I am not sure they are "strategic" & consider them to be just investors ( like us ) hoping for a fantastic return - allbeit that they have a very large holding.Investment by a substantial global technology company ,(who can help us achieve our ambitions & lend substantial credibility)without the need for a public placing, would, IMO,be the best way forward & best way to help unlock the massive potential that remains here & help our SP rise to a level more in keeping with that potential.

I agree that Toms post was brilliant & emphasizes the value of real time driving data.My point is what was the purpose of putting that RNS out there today , rather than as part of a general fleet update or part of the Results in around 4 weeks.I doubt whether the message was for we PIs or any other current investor in SEE - & I doubt whether it was intended as a general message to The Industry ?

Of more interest to all stakeholders is new contracts & the increased number of installed units so while interesting to know that Guardian has covered 1.3million km surely that information should be a footnote to a general fleet update or as a part part of the fleet section of the forthcoming Interims (by which time we may have covered 1.4 mill km.

Well Increased my substantial holding 3 times earlier this week in the hope of & in anticipation of a strong recovery over the next 12 months .We have £100mill in the bank,growing revenues,a maturing pipeline,a fair possibility of our Advair generic being approved next year,the possibility of the announcement of new generic products (to further irritate/aggravate GSK) ,apart from the possibility of the unexpected .......so I remain optimistic that our SP could reach /exceed previous highs over the next year or so & I remain patient

5500 G2 units were shipped ,presumably mainly to distributors, last month but I would expect it will take some time before all 5500 are fitted & operating, despite the substantial increase in our installation engineers.Perhaps Ken is hoping that by end Sept the installed base will have substantially increased & more orders are being shipped to our distributors & direct customers.It would be gratifying to hear news of 1 or 2 major Fleet deals which will manage in house with view to their size .

perhaps for now & maybe our SP will be allowed to find a higher level ahead of results which will hopefully endorse & encourage a continued re rating -reasons to be cheerfull ?

Smart Eye are capitalised at a much lower ,level giving more scope for decent increases in their SP as their credibility & potential perceivably improves - not that we are helped by that !!

Perhaps Ken knew Mike was planning a large disposal (admin procedures prior to release of shares from Employee share trust) & has been with holding positive news on the basis of severe irritation as to how much Mike has made for such a short period of time in office.Hopefully Miton have finished their selling too & we can look forward to news & a positive trading update with Results in 4 weeks or so.

Perhaps they have history & dont get on , resulting in Gervais selling down his stake ?
Has anyone emailed Gervais to enquire as to his rationale?

We should remember that if the 2 large transactions reported yesterday were sales there must have been a buyer/buyers at the other end of the deal as MMs would be unlikely to want to hold an additional 10 mill shares.

Due in 4 weeks or so will provide Ken & Jack the opportunity to advise The Market of how we are progressing & how FY 19 has started together with an Outlook Statement ( not a revenue forecast).If there is no positive contract news before then our SP may well drift & as holders we always have the choice & I could sell now for a profit of over 100% (as I increased substantially at around 3p last year) but I am not planning on selling any before the Results.Clearly if our weak SP is due to our brokers beating the drum about a fund raise (causing those in the know to quietly sell) then I will have made a mistake.In the absence of an unexpected fundraise & the possibility of positive news ahead of Interims next month I am continuing to hold & watch with interest.We all have a choice & I confess to making many bad ones over the years,as well as some decent ones & selling at 14p would have clearly been the best choice ( with the benefit of hindsight)- but who knew ?

Agreed GB2, that the share awards being brought forward may well be a signal. Directors & PDMR s are now fully loaded with cheap/free SEE shares & have much to gain by our success.
Jack has not bought any shares yet & hopefully he will soon ( & when he can ) buy a decent holding & perhaps he should speak with Miton.

This should be a transformational year ,during which we continue to win major Auto contracts,expand substantially our Fleet footprint,(helped by the launch of G3)sign decent contracts in Aero & Rail , apart from the possibility of a new significant sector opening up to us .We long term investors should remain optimistic of a happy ending here-which for most of us means a takeover which fully values our position in the global market place & potential to retain a dominant share.Our SP will ebb & flow & apart from the psychological ( feelgood or bad) effect on we PI s our actual SP is only relevant if we are raising new funds .Miton invested at 5p & are realising a decent profit for their investors-the risk for them being that they are falling into the classic PI trap of selling your winners to fund your losers.Until further substantive news & Results in a month or so our SP may continue drifting & I presume hsat some of us will view our reduced SP as an opportunity to increase our holdings ( again) ahead of what should be a very exciting year.
Remaining very optimistic -totally un influenced by my large holding !

If VW are considering their options why would they wait until the end of the year or early next year to make their decision.as we know, fortunately, other major car manufacturers have decided on their road map in respect of DMS & I would hope that Fovio will appear as compelling to VW as the others & that they will make an earlier decision.

Hopefully the first of several positive announcements forming part of the "significant newsflow " expected in 2018 & discussions with prospective partners to launch the phase 3 trial will be well underway.
Also hopefully more positive news to follow , particularly regarding VR475

Great to be in collaboration re prospective pilot training schemes -but isn’t the elephant in the room the fact that FedEx have around 60,000 commercial vehicles -all of which would benefit from G2 -as would their drivers & all ithercroad users .Now that would be worthy of an RNS & could help SEB fulfill his ambitions here -& the rest of us

We would all rather the SP to be higher ASAP as it would vindicate our investment decision & prove the feel good factor that comes with an increase in the value of our assets. If unhappy with progress or reporting we can all email Mr K for his response.
If we are to raise funds I would still rather that we have 1 or 2 new trade partners who take significant stakes who can help us achieve our ambitions - as opposed to a placing where placees are likely ( & who can blame them ) to top slice & take some profits when they can as their investments are unlikely to be long term.
Interims due in around 4 weeks will hopefully provide the impetus for positive momentum to be regained -although Mr K is unlikely to repeat the error from last year of making a revenue projection very early in the year .

What motive would they have for keeping it at this level now as the senior management have millions of free/cheap shares & will now all become extremely wealthy if SEE achieves its ambitions.The only possible reason could be that there is deal for a new large & supportive shareholder to take a significant stake in return for a final placing & who wi8ll be able to help us achieve those ambitions but they want in at no more than,say 10p, knowing that the announcement of their 10-20% stake is likely to result in a rapid re rating of our SP (eg Intel taking 20% for $60mill US
