I dont recollect when we last saw a daily rise of 16.5p ( so far ) so lets hope it holds & moves towards & beyond the 280p target

A merger would be my preference as that would keep us "in the game" with a dual listing

I was lucky to have invested at 8p & believe that a bright future beckons,with a strong & innovative management team .My only regret -not buying more -but we all say that with the benefit of hindsight

Caterpiller ,where our success first began & continues,are hardly a micro company & our longstanding relationship there many well have helped our securing Shell.As the RNS was signed off by our (relatively ) new head of Fleet ,I assume that he was very much involved in getting this deal done & hopefully there will be similar contracts in the pipeline .If we will be training Shell maintenance crew to retrofit Guardian,the responsibility for installation reverts to Shell in house ,freeing up our installation teams to fulfill other contracts .
It will also be interesting to see any progress made by Eroad ,particularly in the US ,as well as NZ & Aus & again they may well take responsibility for installation of Guardian as it will sit on the tech stack which they may be supplying to their clients.

Perhaps the word should include a short sentence -if you don’t up grade your SP expectations based on a full understanding of our business & prospects we will migrate to a broker who does .
I should have also mentioned earlier that today’s RNS obviously vindicates our investment here but large investors may now be tempted to either build new stakes or increase existing ones (eg R Griffith’s )-apart from PIs

Revenue to be generated from this fantastic deal is clearly vitally important in increasing our valuation matrix but the positive effect on our credibility with other prospective global customers,clients, employees & prospective employees is massive as it substantially endorses our credibility as Market Leader in this emerging field & anyone considering acquiring us will now have to pay more.

Fantastic endorsement of our tech by one of the global majors.The truly transformation RNS will be when we have signed a major deal with a Fleet OEM for installation of Guardian at point of manufacture.

Looks likely we spent a additional £370k buying back a further 2.8mill earlier today ,which explains our SP weakness earlier this morning .

If we can maintain or grow our profitability & therefore sustain or grow our current dividend we will remain a high yielding stock with scope for some capital growth, if our cash surplus can be utilised effectively & either earnings accretive bolt on acquisitions can be made or we continue buying back shares in the market .We have spent approx £300k so far this week on buy backs , reducing the free float further.There also remains the possibility that we could be used as a SPAC & a much larger business could reverse into us.
Either way, we are a tiny company & fly under the radar of most investors & IIs & we also have a chequered history in respect of banana skins & disasters & it will take a period of positive reporting for that tarnish to fade

All vehicles will need DMs within the next few years,assuming no pushing back of deadlines & ,arguably,commercial vehicles will need them more than autos as the typical HGV,Bus ,Van or Coach/Bus Drivers, drive all day ....for a living -it is their job & they are more at risk than most Auto drivers ,who typically drive to & from work, etc etc with the occasional long journey.Our Fleet business has been growing steadily but if our FY22 is to have 40k connected vehicles,in the very near future all fleet vehicles will need DMS & some owners will be prepared for our monitoring services,particularly if to do so will reduce their Fleet insurance by more than the cost of our remote monitoring.The market has to expand from a projected 40k+ FY22 to 10mill within a few years & we should be in pole position to capture a substantial % of that market.If we believe that the scale up is likely to be too much of a challenge our tech could be licences to QC,Intel or whoever wants it for a decent upfront payment & royalties.Either way , Fleet should still be massive, as well as Auto

Positive in all respects & the return of volatility should stand is in even better stead + dividends will increase if we are performing ahead of expectations + bolt on acquisitions sounds like a good plan in order to control risk & expand further into areas of perceived growth.

At 30/6 we held substantial funds & we were told that Fleet continues to grow strongly & over 100k autos had out tech onboard.Finals due by end Oct should include a very positive Outlook statement & confirm the expectation of growing revenues-so the only reason we may raise funds now would be if a strategic investor wanted a holding & the view was that their investment & presence on our share register would help us achieve our ambitions.Some doubted the Hermes deal but our SP subsequently quickly doubled & the right strategic investor (Qualcomm,Omni,Intel etc) could result in a rapid re rating .
I have been here since 2013 & while accepting the insecurities which a reducing SP present ,I remain very optimistic that my long term investment will be further vindicated as FY22 unfolds & the next 4 weeks could be very positive

Stronger update than I expected & it will be interesting to see how our substantial cash surplus is applied.

Either way,I presume that after Results ,within 4 weeks, we will brief our brokers regarding the FY22 projected revenue-which is likely to be conservative to allow for the possibility of upgrades , rather than downgrades .

Our substantial data bank should help in persuading reluctant drivers & their unions that Guardian helps save lives & our alerts over the last 12 months is currently around 200k -which is substantial, despite our installed base of around 30k on average which by my simple way of looking at it implies an average of 6 or 7 alerts per installed unit-not insubstantial.

I prefer us to remain totally independent & achieve our full potential over the next couple of years, particularly in the US.If Corporate Action becomes inevitable I would rather we merge with MGM rather than be consumed by them,with Ent being the dominant partner & retaining a quote in the UK & US,thereby allowing us to keep our holding

Buying under 2300p must be fair speculation of an improved or competing offer for a similar amount or a new bidder emerging from outside the industry (e.g. Amazon & several other cash rich techies,or Asset Strippers who will try to emulate ceasars

DKs proposal @ 2800p consisting mainly of expensive US paper is highly opportunist & sets a mark for what will hopefully ( if we have to be sold)be a starting point.Ceasars bought William Hill for a song & their US platform cost them net, peanuts-a fact which wont be lost on our Board & if a similar assets strip is proposed whereby DK become MGMs partner leaving them with the US & most else sold,it would be a great deal for them, & not so great for us.Many of us have been here for years & £28 represents a fantastic return ( so far for many of us )-but surely thats not the point-if I bought a house 30+ years ago for £100k which is now worth £2mill,why would I sell it for £1.5mill.There will be major companies in the US looking at us carefully & there could well be unexpected interest from companies currently with no exposure to this market-eg, why would Amazon not be interested as not only are we a substantial global company with a rapidly growing US interest , but we have a very large number of global customers ,not all of whom shop with Amazon.
