Almost 2 years since initial compensation ruling and still not settled and that discounting the years it took us to get there re covid, numerous fundraises in that time and still out of our hands, painful, send the SKELETONS VAMPS.

I felt was 100% we would get this time round but after reading between lines thought 50/50. After hearing what have today think now is more likely than not that we are headed for supreme court and further delays. Love to be proved wrong but that is how I feel now.

At the moment mr diamond I am taking the £10 million as just unfounded speculation.

1. The figure is expressed in £ and Finland use the Euro as well as Karelian and 11,800,000 Euros seems an unlikely amount for them to demand

2.There appears to be no mention of this figure in public domain.

3.For the time being this just remains hearsay of a poster named Yogi who has put this figure out their whilst providing nothing to substantiate it ie source etc.

It is the only hope I can see vamps, chuckle.

Do proper research please? It always amazes me how someone can have a contrary view to another and without having a clue who they are talking to or research the other has done come out with a comment like do proper research, so I just chuckle to that.

Not sure where you got the £10 million figure from but am not aware that is in public domain but if that is so well done on that snippet. If you mean by planting a few trees these two land owners are in the timber industry, oh dear lol that is a multi Billion euro yearly industry in Finland and 8000 Euros would seem paltry. This could well go to supreme court

I think if this is mentality of the land owner we are dealing with he will think nothing of taking to supreme court so for me it is going to supreme court and whilst think we eventually get the nod I now think it will not be till 2025 sometime. Think this has further to run.

I would be surprised with the majority of Land owners accepting an 8k offer according to mr diamond if the remaining two were asking for an amount way in excess.

Me personally as I am working on their land would want to foster good relations and karma and cut them into small percentage of future profits and do everything in my power to meet them and resolve amicably.

So why wouldn't the prof?

I think Vamps asks a valid question surely we could have settled this out of court with a fair compensation package a long time ago.

Worth remembering the original compensation was 14th December 2022 that is nearly two years ago and we are still haggling over the amount. One word "pathetic"

I really felt the court case in August would be the last. I am not so sure now whilst the judge re affirmed the boundary he appears to have given them 60 days to appeal this once again and also asked Land Court to reconsider three points of their appeal re compensation opening the way to further debate. Lastly I was lead to believe supreme court would be too costly for the Finnish Landowners but seems little more than if the appeal took place in regular court ie around 550 euros split... Seeing as supreme Court is their last step I am fearful of this dragging on longer than anticipated and from thinking was zero chance of this I feel is flip of a coin now. Whatever price land owners are paying we have paid a bigger one by the delays to date and possibly greater to come.

Negativity has saved me being in a dire position here, so will remain negative until we get Lahtojoki permit.

This appeal thus far has cost us

A 3 month delay and admin of £63,000, but even bigger than that, we ran out of cash and a large dilution at 30% plus discount via spread betting company yet again and we know how last two went, large dumping's of stock STORY etc, when will the prof learn.

Another appeal and that will be at least 3 months going on past form and another 63k in admin before we can get going at best at Lahtojoki and bring in spectre of another low ball fundraise.

In all phases if a case proceeds to supreme court cost would be around EURO 1590 they will have already paid two thirds of this. Lawyers costs again two thirds paid and they only had to pay a portion of our costs... So if they are not happy with the settlement seems a good chance they will take to supreme court.

The 63k figure is obtained from Karelian accounts their operating costs are at least that over 3 month period.

My understanding is if they appeal they have another go at administrative court.

Lets assume it goes to supreme court in Finland I do not believe it is as expensive as you make out Euro 530 from what I can see

That is my point if is standard 60 days then this will drag if they appeal. Finnish court system seems in no hurry they work at their own snails pace. A date for a new hearing will be set then they will have a standard 60 day appeal timeframe.

You are the only one to mention supreme court but my understanding is that we are not at that stage as Judge has given the two landowners the right to appeal within the Finnish Legal System, show me the document that says they will have to appeal through supreme court? The Judge made no mention that the further appeal would have to be through supreme court.

Yes landowners had to make a contribution to our costs but we paid the majority of the costs and the 3 months wait has cost £63,000 in admin.

The hope is they will be made offer and be happy with it and no appeal.

Kuhmo and Northern Ireland long term all that matters is Lahtojoki permit...I was lead to believe the last court decision would be final within Finland... But the judge put back in the hands of the landowners by giving them the right to appeal the decision... So the prof is misleading by saying finalization. The only people that know if it is final are two Finnish landowners and we must respect their right to appeal. If they do not appeal then game on. If they appeal then there will need to be another court date set which will take months and then going by the way things operate in Finland judge will probably give them another 60 days to appeal that so we will be welll nto 2025 and looking at 1p like Vamps says.

Cash and balance sheet sufficient not to have to raise this year at paltry levels that in no way reflect the resource

When this stock moves it does not tend to do a day spike but move significantly higher over a period of a week to a month.

With a 500% increase in the resource, sound balance sheet and technicals aligned I would be most surprised if it does not do the same over coming weeks. Initial targets 0.35p and 0.50p, seems to be in alignment with Zac talking 0.40p

Personally think there was a over hang pre news today and that we will clear that soon and then this will start to motor higher with greater ease towards that 0.35p and 0.50p
