Surely with so much hatred towards them and they know it, this must create a terrible karma for them? Terrible things and bad luck must happen to them ... if we are all pointing our hatred towards them?

We have such a great company ... its unbelievable how good.
There is a technical issue copper price aside: Canaccord handles the Chinese sale of 22% stake and it was done very quickly at 320p, which means plenty of fast traders / mates / HFs would have got stock as free money and as it gets closer to strike 320p they are going to dump, in a quiet market / low vol that has a negative effect on us. So I am pretty sure we are seeing a lot of that 22% being offloaded . Canaccord should be fired IMHO.

I see Canaccord's fire sale of 22% at 320p as overhang risk
They did this the night before the RNS
The price was ridiculously low
This creates overhang risk
Canaccord looked after their mates
Copper Yanggu Xiangguang (XGC) in my oppinion should sue Canaccord

with Helix and our license agreement ... we are also a technology company (now apply the right multiples to that).

I listened to the call: what an exciting company we own.
Our management team is excellent.
Copper is a hot commodity: I believe this is not going to change (cars, nationalistic fight to secure resources, the cost of bringing new copper mines online).

We probably have one of the newest mines up and running.
Our resources keep increasing, and that trend will continue.
We are mining champions in Spain: we are the best.
Touro is likely to be given green light in the near future (new mine in the north)
We will find new resources adjacent to Corto Atalaya (Rio Tinto).
Helix system (new industrial plant being built) will enable us to extract other elements.
We are likely to start producing Zinc, lead, Silver and maybe one day gold alongside more copper.

Energy : yes it has caused our costs to increase, but Spain despite its current system that has not worked well to world gas prices actually does not use much gas, and is mostly nuclear / wind / solar. We have a new contract signed that will greatly reduce our costs. We are building a solar plant that will provide up to 1/3 of our electricity needs.

We have handsome dividend terms 25-30% net pay out
Liquidity increased since distressed Chinese seller exit
Our company is so exciting
Its the best copper play out there
Should be worth 1bn now

When I retire ... with the electric revolution that is taking place ... we will be looking at a world where there is not enough copper ... this will be worth 20bn paying a 5% dividend and I will be very rich and very comfortable.

Its done now.

Woeful effort by Canaccord: should they be fired?
According to sources this book build was complete by the time the RNS was out.
There was nothing competitive about the accelerated book build to get the best price.

Sure, what we don't know is how desperate Yanggu Xiangguang Copper were for the cash at that particular point in time.
With 20% placed our articles of association require disclosure of ownership above 1%? Will be interesting to see who the new holders are.
Yanggu Xiangguang Copper do they still have any off take on our output? Set up by EMED/Harry under desperate conditions.

Never seen this number of questions and interest in Atalaya.
Clearly more analysts following.
VERY positive.
Only risk is ENERGY costs, but ATYM has done much to deal with this: 50MW solar coming online in 2022 - also looking at 15MW of wind.
Lots of exploration and assets that are already viable that just need permitting.
This company will double its market cap.

BANGRAK is getting 2 way in 250k ... you are struggling to get a quote in 1000 shares. Sometimes , liquidity dries up but on the whole its much higher than last decade. I usually can get quotes for my size. I think you need to change broker!

CFO and Operations Director have basically covered their purchase costs of exercising their options. They have not covered the capital gains tax that is still liable, but they may have up to 18 months.
Potential positive read through from CEO Alberto having not (so far) sold shares to finance his option purchase and has the same CGT liability exposure .
Copper remains strong and likely to see inflationary price pressure as key commodities get squeezed.
Spain, warming up, electricity will get cheaper from solar / renewable.
