Chengdo, I completely understand what you said. What I tried to say was that I want to own part of Avacta, and not see it as just some set of dice I know the probabilities, or chances, of my right numbers turning up, but see it grow and do some good to others and for me at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I am here for the money too, it is just.

Anyway, as The Dude Jesus in Monty Python eyes would say, "Look, you've got it all wrong. You don't need to follow me. You don't need to follow anybody. You've got to think for yourselves. You're all individuals.""YES. WE'RE ALL INDIVIDUALS." ;0)

Now on a more serious note:

I was wondering what those scientists at Avacta, currently working on the affimer technology and its oncology department would think of us if they were to read some of the posts here, how many of us expect news pronto, so it would suit OUR needs?
After all, they have been working all these years to promote and bring this technology to the world in a steady fashion manner, trying not to have hiccups because they tried to hurry it up in order to increase share price, instead of actual share value!

I wonder how they would interpret some of the comments by the derampers on here, or even those investors who see only the "now" and "immediate" share price as the ultimate goal, nevermind the true value and future of Avacta as a real business and the importance it has and will have, nevermind coronavirus, for the oncology field and the many lives it will hopefully help to save or at least alleviate the pain cancer afflicts on them.

I sometimes feel ashamed by the way we behave as shareholders, as we usually go by the motto "don't fall in love with shares" or salute the likes of Warren Buffett! I guess most of us are here to make money (doh), and would drop Avacta like it was a pile of garbage should we feel something is not 100% with the test, prof Alastair and all, right? Yes, I thought so. I guess we are all different, and it would be unfair place us all in one basket.

I had a good think about all this today; about Avacta, its scientists and its staff who are trying to build something, not just a business and a quick return for your cash. I decided I want to be part of this project, at least till I retire, so I will not sell it; I am now taking conscious ownership of my slice of Avacta.

I know, you will say, who cares? I say to that, the Market Makers may! To them I say, up yours, sunny! And now I feel psychologically much better.

Boy, I went for a drive in this lovely day to come back into a treeshake!

I have notice some derampers appearing to support the shake. Where is our psyops, Chengdo? Did anyone say Boohoo?

Boy, this reminds me when I experienced some misfires of a Cherokee I was flying once, and trying to keep calm.... just keep flying this thing...remember the basics, your research, trust your knowledge.

If you care to read some of the posts here, you would have observed through genuine empirical methods, that many, when they clearly know more than others, try to help clarify doubts and questions in a more humble manner. I can't remember anyone (Ah, there was one a while back, but he's gone now) who was, maybe you didn't realise it, that arrogant. That's all.

Just a quick diversion from your success story (well done mate), regarding your mole's technique and savoir faire, I have about 3,000 square metres garden, and my next door neighbour another 3,000, back in Burgundy, and my neighbour's mole infested garden moles decided last year to migrate to mine. /:0(

I tried traps, shooting them with my air rifle (not funny), flood them, even dogs hair. They only laughed at me. My garden was like the setting of the great escape! The neighbourhood's garden had about 20 mounds and mine about 10. The battle lasted a the whole year! But then, I decided to go rough on them. I parked my Ford Ranger on the garden, stuck a hose I the exhaust pipe and gassed the bastadrs for 20 min for each hole.

I haven't seen any news tunnels or migration yet, though not sure what has happened this year as I cannot go there yet due to French restrictions. My question to you would be, does it work in the sense, do they come back?

I suppose that question could go GenieGenie, as well: what are my chances, statistically, of a revenge mole attack?

I personally would never be caught reading The Sun ;0) as I am sure am sure some would never read Charlie Hebdo either, but let's admit it it is a very popular paper and a good promotional piece for Avct.

AVACTA and Prof Alastair has so far not disappointed us with what they delivered so far, and when they did deliver it was great news, so we should be patient. They are not making cakes here! I ask you, when Professor Alastair mentioned that affimers were able to block the virus in vitro, I ask you, didn't that blow your mind up?! A partnership announcement to work on this potential will be for me the BIGGEST news I am waiting for. I am certain this will be the a successful project and will help the world and us.
