"Colin Smith, analyst at Panmure Gordon, said Hurricane's largest shareholder, the Hong Kong-based private equity group Kerogen, appeared to be strengthening its control over the company and its performance as it was also announced on Monday that it would replace its nominated non-executive director on Hurricane's board, Roy Kelly, with Alan Parsley, a geologist with more than 50 years' experience and a former global head of exploration at Royal Dutch Shell".

Indeed, I sense something more is coming and fast in the sense of selling the asset.

Not being disrespectful to you and Trice, but I am here to make money and sell my Hur shares to the highest bidder. And if the new bod delivers that, and soon, I don't care who they sell it to.

I do feel for him, as I know Hur was his baby. But let's be straight here, we cannot as shareholders be emotional when the share price keeps going down and Mummy is not delivering.

A boost of energy with a new head and who clearly has links to an oil major bear dam well.

Hur has cash in the bank and is producing oil, despite the current situation, at a base cost of $17. Oil is $42.22, do I am not complaining.

Don't you all find it strange all these doom and gloomers all pop in for a visit today? Do they want a lower entry? I could hardly get the shares this morning through Barclays, and had to buy I in chunks.

Hur has a lot to catch up with the other Oilers and now, with someone new at the helm, and I am sure, unlike Trice who the others felt they had to accept his direction or the highway, I think here we will soon get the market attention and the share price hur deserves.

Imho.

Good morning,

I can see that the drop this morning was overdone and a knee jerk reaction. Hurricane will end the day in positive days, and once the markets digest the RNS they will correct the share price upwards.

Another larger choke will be used soon to test whether we shall have a stable increase in production from the current 12,000.

As Trice explains in the video presentation he expects water levels to go down in due time.

With the new management I expect an internal reorganisation and a fresher modus operandi. She is experienced and I think it is the right thing to do.

Only upwards from here.

You are not a crap investor, dude. You saw something really good, with both your eyes and your mind and went for it. Many have done so. I have broken all the rules of investing by putting all my eggs in one basket. Sure I heard some here calling the likes of me "dreamers" or "rainbow chasers", but to that I say, damn you, dudes! I have read everything to enlighten me on this affimer technology and I damn like it.

It's as if in the 1800s someone came to me and said that they have a thing that they invented, that you put peanut oil in and it turns ...well, I would ask them, what do you call it? They reply...I think...a motor? I would say, I like it...and motor is a catchy name for it...Bingo, the rest is history.

As I said, well done on that. But my point was, you are a short term trader, kind of swing trader and are more interested in the short term gain.

I assume many investors here have read all they can about affimers and what a great potential it has to seriously DISRUPT the pharma industry as we know it, as explained by Milkmonsta and others. We see avct as a serious medium to long term investment, if we are allowed to keep it that long.

Good luck, as I said, on your other investments.

You are clearly a swing trader, and well done to you with your profit.

Now, you certainly would love see avct ho down next week so you might buy back cheaper, and your bet is that there will be no RNS, which you might be right. However, if the market tilts your way and alot of us sell, would help you. BUT, if we instead, like many others who didn't manage to buy on the many oversubscribed shares, the market will tilt against you and you miss the train. In a way, I do much like for that to happen. :0)

It is just a missed opportunity I would say. For a trader, there are other opportunities out there.

I said exactly that almost two months ago on a BBC forum regarding masks, and was shot down! 47 votes against and 2 in favour (on was my wife)!

I had backed up my comments with academic articles on the effectiveness of surgical masks as to wearing nothing, JAMA, BMJ, etc.., but was ridiculed. I came to the point to say that those do called experts telling people on TV masks were no good, will have, one day, to apologise. They did that in Europe when they admitted they told people that because they didn't have enough masks!

Sometimes the truth slaps you in the face but you still can't see it...many lives have been lost needlessly.

You may say that the airlines will not go for it, but I can tell you, I for one will not hop on a plane until a vaccine is around, or test plus ppe are used on planes.

Why?

PPE, or mask, are limited on their effectiveness, unless they are P3 type, which is what they are not going to give.

Also, the air on a plane is not you "fresh" air, but recycled. Remember the cruise ships? People got contaminated just like those block of flats in Hong Kong. I know there isn't much research on the airborne contagion on the cruises linked to covid, but I am convinced it's as airborne as the Hong Kong's bloc of flats story.

So, in short, until they do a proper screening before boarding, unless it is extremely necessary, I will not risk.

And finally, as I expressed in a post a while back, we may have the second wave, and a third, just like 1919, unless we screen this thing properly.

So yes, a test before you board and another when you land.
