Yes that’s what happened in late October and November and shareholders enjoyed an sp rise from circa 4p to a peak of 28p. It settled back to 25pish then Mr Bond threw a spanner in the works raising a miserly £520k (that was not desperately needed) at 20p. He’s grabbed another £2m since at lower prices and spent £300k on an unknown start up when everyone was expecting news of some sales. So so disappointing.

So market cap £30m and cash £12m. Well valuing the assets at £18m is just crazy. Predator with £80m/£90m could pick up a bargain, probably less on a good day.

Their web site gives a brief history of its people, and nowt about when it was formed or its history. Sounds like a shot in the dark to me and a distraction from what we all expected.

The Lloyds share price will continue to disappoint LTH’s at these sort of levels. Just look at the number of bargains each day. Today there were just under 14,000, it’s an excellent trading share with a spare 5/15k any amateur traded can nip in and out several times a month and make a quick 100/300 quid.
With the move to quarterly divi’s the company should do a 1 for 10 consolidation With the sp at £5.50/£6.50 amateur traders would move on to other targets and there then may be a growth opportunity for the sp.

How do you work that out, they have issued 3pc more shares to (l hope) non holding institutions who just happened to knock at the door. A wise company would have offered a discounted placing to potential new investors (ie institutions) in line with a rights issue to existing shareholders to finance their plans. My concern is they are dithering because things are perhaps not panning out as expected, hence no real news releases.

Bumble is that 2.6m sale at 18p timed at 17.50pm a worry for tomorrow’s opening, could there be a rights announcement coming?

Bumble your point of view is appreciated and noted. At 5p and lower if I recall correctly my investment was depressed and I expected no return at all ( bought originally at 42p took 2 rights issues at 20p and 10p respectively and bought a whole deal more at 8p to get an average of 12p)
As noted in my partial sale (@22.16p) posting of a few days ago my remaining holding is (so to speak) a free bet.
We have had 3 equity issues at 21, 20 and 14pc discounts, representing a 3pc dilution for LTH’s. My concern is that this trend continues without any positive news on orders, I note that the Dundee presentation is still 4 weeks away (so 11weeks since the December launch)
I know this is not a simple one but in my book when a business opens its doors for business ( goes commercial as AFC did on 6th December) it need to make sales to survive. With no sales reported some meaningful progress report should be issued, silence is not golden in this instance.

Yes, and in this crazy world they could have loaned out the share(for a fee) to shorters or even forward sold for profit.

5.88m shares to be admitted tomorrow and a further 5.88m to be admitted on 28/1 no word of any firm orders, we are just in limbo and still waiting for LTHS to be give the opportunity to participate. Why oh why didn’t they just raise say £10m at 17p open to shareholders, fcuk institutions let them buy in the open market if they are so enthusiastic, don’t just give them cheap entry, unless of course they are not convinced with the tech. I wonder!!!

LJJ70 Crazy idea, SXX will go into administration almost immediately. It happened only a few months ago to Thomas Cook. The bits were then gobbled up for next to nothing. I know it’s sad, but 5.5p is better than nothing and CF will be ok no matter what happens. AA could have offered shares, my maths says that would have been about 1 AA share for every 400 SXX shares but I guess they didn’t want another 85,000 shareholders. The investment case for SXX was very exciting, but no shareholder can honestly say they didn’t know about the RISK involved, unless they received poor professional advice.

Just one further point on funding. The last Proactive interview specifically asked Adam about future fund raising. He answered by saying it would be reviewed in the new year. Two small raises is neither here nor there, they (IMO) do not address the issue.
Furthermore, today in this raise they say demand is good for the larger product. For me you do not build a rolls until you’ve sold the mini’s. A bit simplistic but I’m sure you understand where I coming from.

Southerhay. That was a terrible post, the raise in December was 520k and a £1m bonus should only be paid for a significant contribution to shareholder value, my holding 6 months ago was close to worthless. And as for being commercial, I think you achieve this when you SELL a product or service.
I want AFC to do well but I am totally adverse to being led down the garden path, which AFC have done in years gone by. Enough said.

Chippyjo yes your take on it is what you would expect, so the leak (remember over 12m shares got traded on Friday) must have intimated that the coming RSN was more important to the sp, is that not manipulation. My point is, they have said AFC has disruptive tech to get it up and running they need huge investment, just get it done and stop messing about with £520k here and £1m there..

Well it’s now in full view another issue of equity at 17p to raise a further £1m it was leaked and the sp manipulated to pacify LTH’s . Exactly the same happened with the £520k raised in December 2019 at 20p after the sp had pushed to over 25p.
I’m not overly concerned now as I’ve made a partial sale. Raising funds in dribs and drabs does not inspire confidence, that my take on it, time will tell.
