I got what I asked for. I sold all my AFC for a very healthy profit a few weeks ago and promised myself not to invest in AIM ever again. As someone has posted today, 12months ago the was capitalised at about £15m, shareholders have been fed over optimistic info for several years. Hopefully they will deliver for investors now, it’s their last chance.

It will be interesting to hear in the morning the result of this fund raising. On the basis of the limited time window not a lot of private investors will be aware of it. AFC must have informed/indicated to the institutions what was happening for there only being a 3 hour window.

I think if De Nora were interested in AFC they would have acted a long time ago. Hopefully with £30m AFC have some serious business to do. If that’s not the case there will be no more chances in my book for them.

Please note directors will not be taking any shares in this huge raise, it’s a closed period, very convenient don’t you think. I recall the phrase “disruptive technology” yes provided someone else stumps up the cash, over 6 months since that comment, let’s blame the disruption on COVID-19.

There is no minimum payment, I now also have extra shares showing in my EQi account. I think that minimum applied to the initial offer through PRIMARY BID which was issued without any prior warning and closed massively oversubscribed before private investors could react.

I deal through EQi and I have received no documents, has anyone had theirs?

Newboy58 not sure you can sell the allocation before you get it. The chances are all applications for shares at 5p will be heavily scaled back. Interesting that they wanted £10m but got £20m and even that was heavily oversubscribed

Brilliant, but your in the wrong company surely. UKOG capitalised at £3.52bn. Alba has 11pc of those dollars and is capitalised at £4.5m, plus other assets. What am I missing??

From memory, last year they were released in May. It’s now June and there is still no date for results. Such a delay is worrying.

Not overly sure of my facts, but I believe companies do not move from AIM to the main market ie the 350 or 250 or 100. They need to apply for admission and I think the cost is more significant. I’m sure there will be a few who can confirm this.

Perhaps your right for you personally, but remember these fundings came about because the investor approached the company (supposedly) so they have a clear view of who the owners are and they will be aware if they have taken short term profits. End of.

athansius. All companies have a thing called “a share register” of course they know who holds the shares. I think your getting confused with the “regulations” for the disclosure of holding above and /or below certain percentages which should be disclosed to the market.

On track for 2022. Another dream, what was it that was ready and launched NOV/DEC 2019, followed by countrywide roadshows. Then of course Adam got his mates to take shares at a discount to fund his huge salary, then COVID-19 was cited to fund them through the lockdown. Recent jump in sp gives Adam a window to repeat.
I think they should disclose to shareholders how many of the shares issued at a discount in these mini funding arrangements are still held by the favourably treated subscribers.

So £4m raised in 5 months to the exclusion of private investors. I’d be interested to know how many of those shares are still held by the so called institutions. They could have raised £20m easily at 14/18p from ordinary shareholders in December/January. I can see their collapse being blamed on COVID-19, as they continue to shoot from the hip with blanks.

Of measures announced by the U.K. government coupled with the measures announced by the rest of Europe and the USA and the significant death tolls particularly in Italy and Spain will have a massive impact on world stock market and commodity prices in the coming week, nothing will be spared.

Do not get sucked in here. TUI is scheduled to recommence Marella cruises 28th March. It just won’t happen and they will take another huge hit.
