Sorry guys, what I post here is only my opinion, no inside knowledge. But I have been around AFC for 8 to 10 years I remember all the MOU’s that moved the sp to the higher 60’s and that’s what a “real” contract will do. All my opinion.

I raised the “Financial Impact” question at 11.30am. Now posters are saying “No deal size for a reason”
Suddenly the penny has dropped, AFC will make no profit from this deal hence its poor impact on the sp.

With a lead time of circa 12 months and no financial details, not even a mention how is this going to work. Yes they’ve raised £30m that will not go far in today’s world. The volume of shares dealt post this announcement indicates the professional are not overly impressed.

Would have liked to see some revenue figures, whats it worth to AFC. Is there any up front payment? I would have expected our first sale/contract to have sent the sp far higher than 22p after all it’s been to 38p without any deal. Financial impact is key.

Article in the FT which says these are operating in South Korea, disadvantages being the high initial cost and the running costs which it says are three times the cost of petrol. Advantage is clean air.

Forgot to mention I have another aim investment with a market cap of £130m, no sales, no income and full of wild promises. ALBA has a market cap of a mere £7.5m and its plans and assets give me far more optimism for the future.

I tuned in and due to the technical issues that created a delay and then the poor sound quality I did not listen for more than 10 minutes or so.
I have now looked at the web site version and am really impressed. The plan for the Welsh gold will start early September and there could be some exciting result by or shortly after Christmas. The assets in Greenland also have immense potential and any news of a JV will propel the sp to another level. Interesting and exciting times ahead.

Just read Malcys blog and it is really positive. The reality is the sp will dive if this deal goes ahead and it will bounce significantly if it doesn’t . Oil price is critical. If we see 15/20p it may be a reasonable gamble. Debt reduction has been a priority for the last 2 years and will remain so until 2024 I think interest at over 8pc not attractive with oil at 45 dollars.

The odds are looking stacked against this raise happening the whole backdrop feels wrong.

I think they are, but I can see a takeover at a really silly price, a bit like Lonmin the buyers shares more than doubled once the deal was done.

Cannot fathom a price for raising 230m when the capitalised value of company before the opening is only 313m.

I have 3 investments, none has any revenue, they are all on AIM, and their market caps are circa 140m, 31m and 5m.
Obviously AFC is the 140m, which one will make me rich, I’ve been waiting 8 years with AFC, much less with the other 2.

Just listened to the latest interview with George Lucan dated 16/7/20 all sounded very positive and well worth a listen.

Reported volume at 9.15am is over 12m shares, there must have been a leak of imminent news.

To add to the misery an autumn rights issue reported in todays FT.

Muted response to really decent results in a difficult climate, maintained dividend, must be the envy of many companies, shares will move higher once the penny drops.

The worrying bit is the wording “to meet projected customer demand” on the basis they have no orders what does it mean.
What is the projected demand, why not say, I bet they have no clue it’s finger in the air stuff.

But the early bird sellers may well regret their actions
