The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
It will probably rerate to reflect fair value in due course, however it probably won't be overnight. The fundamentals look good but it will take the market a few months for the shareprice to reflect it IMO. The only example I can think of is ZOO. This time last year it had a MC of under 5 million and a SP of 12p despite posting an operating profit. Now it makes an actual profit and trades at 70p with a P/E ratio in the mid 30s. Different sector to MRS of course, with higher average PE ratios and without the constraints on growth MRS has. However MRS will rerate to whatever the average PE ratio for their sector IMO. I held ZOO for two months before selling up and chasing rainbows elsewhere, I'm not going to make the same mistake this time :).
Yes, it's a free country. You just need to use your street smarts to see if they're being honest and have a point or not. I listed to Wshack when I was in Ctag and exited that turd with a four bagger. Had I listened to the bulls/rampers, I would of been wiped out.
It wouldn't bother me actually. I'm a grown up and just because I'm bullish on a stock, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm correct. The bear case can and should be given airtime on a forum. That's what these forums should be used for actually IMO.
Got wiped out on my last gamble/investment. Made a tiny profit on my last 'trade'. Put all my eggs and a 2k cash advance into MRS @ 7p. Let's hope that the results are 'in line with expectations' or 'above expectations'. I. think I'll sleep soundly though :).
Well it won't happen in five years but could happen in 10 and will definitely happen in the next 20. Someone's already developed a drone that can seay one person: https://www.engadget.com/2016/01/06/184-delivery-drone-for-people/ And Domino's has already successfully trialed delivery drones in New Zealand: https://qz.com/838254/dominos-is-delivering-pizza-with-autonomous-drones-to-customers-in-new-zealand/ Granted nothing really to do with Strat Aero.
Looks like I've stumbled into a classic turnaround play.. Or yet another AIM dog. The shareprice could 5 bag here in the next couple of months... OR it could just be another jam tomorrow, confetti share issuing outfit. Well I'm out of luck so I'll guess I'll hold. Two of the other shares I'm looking at are also classic AIM dogs that might be turning a corner. But because of my previous AIM misadventures, I'm out of capital so stuck with this one.
Looks like a nervous holder to me! I'm here for the JORC, don't have the balls or indeed the money to stay here long term. It looks like they're trying to get their burn rate under control which is good. But to take the mine into production means expense and tapping shareholders for more funds in the medium term. IMO.
