They literally had a progress update 5 days ago:

No idea, but a quick google threw up this article from five days ago:
https://www.caixinglobal.com/2022-12-03/tsingshan-expands-investment-in-zimbabwe-101973861.html
Since the RNS was released a few days after the article there might be some substance to it after all.
That's the thing. Carl tried these shenanigans 10 years ago. But everyone has a smartphone with an always on Internet connection. It's hard to pull the same scam twice. I still hold against my better judgement, but anymore 'delays' and I'm off.
"Especially as Contango seem to be in no rush to produce / sell / do deals as the clock ticks down."
But they've literally got an offtake agreement for 10,000 tonnes a month and are finalising another offtake agreement for the same amount. When the wash plant is completed a few weeks from now, they'll be revenue generating.
It's all in this RNS:
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/CGO/thermal-coal-strategy-zj1tzfyd82c0x0s.html
They state 10,000 tonnes of coal a month with profit of $80 a tonne.
So $800,000 a month. That's £718,280 a month and £8,619,360 a year at current exchange rates.
5% up on little volume. Looks a bit leaky to me. Partnership to supply their crash test dummies to Rover is on the cards me thinks. Dave The Dumpling on Twitter is very bullish about this companies prospects. Get your golden tickets now before The Heard descends!
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend.
