RE: Morgan Stanley14 Apr 2023 13:03
Just to be clear, of course KDR is a high risk investment, it’s a ‘prospector’ searching for many years for the elusive ‘needle in the haystack’ to coin the professor’s terminology.
I first bought here in 2016, just a small position, sold out a year later but it’s always interested me, purely as one of those risky stocks that has the small chance of a tremendous uplift.
Personally, I think they’ve come along way, yes, it’s taken years, time that the professor doesn’t have the luxury of, and all the more reason he’d like a final shot at doing something really special.
And that’s why they’ll be working extra hard during 2023, everything is finally falling into place with the license finally being granted etc.
An announcement of a JV could really focus market interest, and then see how difficult it will be for anyone to buy any stock.
That’s why I’m continuing to add, all in my ISA. If I’m wrong and nothing happens this year then so be it, our MCap is representative of what we have.
However, If I’m right, and KDR announce significant news during 2023, then watch out, there’s nothing more exciting than an exploration Company finding ‘The motherlode’ and when we’re taking Diamonds, and potentially the first mine in Europe, sentiment will drive this to surprising levels alone.
And then there’s the potential of a seriously valuable Company.
Plus, one needs to factor in the ‘Luck of the Irish’ !!
Is this worth not even a small investment? Just to hold & tuck away?
Just my opinion of course.
I did tremendously well on ARB from Dec 2020 to March 2021, and 30 bagged on that. Completely different sector.
In all my research, do I think KDR offers similar potential uplift. 60p a share?
This would equate to an MCap of just £50M.
With the right JV partner announcement, watch out.
