How did the government create inflation exactly???

Do most people in Germany not rent? Do we expect the same outcome there as a result of all those despicable landlords? :)

Topped up with a few more this morning, looking forward to good increase in share price and great dividends over next 12 months....

Dividend now reaching 10% and likely to continue growing annually...... crazy levels, hard to understand why shares aren't being snapped up at this price?????

New CEO Mr England will transform the business and drive growth…….

The 3 key people who created the excellent turnaround and growth have all left the business now, will be interesting to see if progress can be maintained.

Clearly a big mistake jumping in at £ 5.97 at the start of the week! LOL.......... Still have no idea what's going on this week with Banks and Pension companies all badly hit despite SVB apparently resolved. Was expecting a strong bounce back!

However, on the reassurances this morning I expected the markets to recover after Friday.....

I am aware of that, as obviously the Lloyds that I sold were significantly down. However, I had been looking to switch some Lloyds to PHNX for the improved dividend yield and today seemed like a good opportunity.....

Strange day following good results..... took the opportunity to buy £50k worth in place of Lloyds as should deliver 8.7% dividends and increasing at these prices

Strange Morning...... don't really understand why continuing to head down , decided to sell 102k of my Lloy holding and moved to PHNX which announced good results this morning and should be paying 8.7% in dividends at this mornings prices .

Without wishing to go back over old ground, I do think the share is still being held back by the big drop in dividends and the loss of the supposedly "postponed not cancelled" dividend payment. This despite continuing strong performance through Covid. I think there was a loss of trust and confidence. Buybacks despite all logic never seem to return in share price gains. Aviva is a good example of this over the last year....

Why 75.4 billion.... was it not around 71.4 bn before last years buybacks???

Surely the ISA allowance should increase with inflation in normal times. However, with the freeze on tax allowances for the next 6 years or so (rise in taxes) that is clearly unlikely to happen

Will we make a clear break through the 50p barrier at the third attempt????? Let's hope so ......

As Aviva is a much more diversified business hopefully not the same impact. As insurers, it does seem incredible that they don't provision for a couple of weeks of cold weather???????

Wondered what was impacting insurers this morning...... wouldn't expect the same impact on LGEN as a much more diversified business and the trading updates have been very positive.....

Does anyone have any idea what has happened with the share price this morning without any obvious news????

Disappointing fall today from positive trading statement??????

Certainly hoping for a special divi in addition to the 1.6p as well as further £2b buyback. The position has changed significantly and still disappointed that the dividend at Covid ("postponed not cancelled") disappeared.
In my view we should be back as a minimum to pre covid dividends and further excess going to buybacks at these prices.
