Curious, from recollection and without going back into posts and RNS'es, I though that a new license cannot be given before the old one expires. Hence, SNPC promised to give one but cannot do so until the expiration date of the current license.

You ask; Why would SNPC hold up their promises to grant the license to AAOG come renewal time and not sell it to New Age at a premium? Well, because if they would display such blatant dishonesty and untrustworthiness then they would have a very hard time attracting any future deals and investments.

Don't forget, SNPC don't have the money to invest in the exploration themselves. The revenues coming form the fields is holding up the economy. It's also not their strategy as outlined in earlier posts. They want to hold a share for someone else to develop the fields.

They will haggle on terms as outlined by DS and JB ('they are currently horrible' I think is what DS said at the time) but negotiate and agree they will.

Yes because it will have more value going forwards, no because it drives the SP of NC up and Indeed, it has which makes a takeover more expensive.

There is certainly a reason why NC is so vocal about HV. Not sure why. It could be that they really do believe that this so as big as it seems, hence the increase in drill rigs or it could be something else like maybe scaring off/warning any potential suitors. We spoke about this before here on this BB. It could be both.

I find it still 'intriguing' that Rio is so quiet about their Winu discovery in comparison to NC.

is what I keep thinking when I read this BB over the past week.

Seen all these posts before. So much confidence that AP will deliver, when in fact, contrary to all the promises in the many many podcasts, he has not delivered anything to speak of in well over a year. Well, apart from dilution that is.

I have to admire the shear confidence and believe people are showing here, in fact based on a promised finance (been there before) and an agreement with the heritage foundation, not the Government who ultimately determines what goes and what doesn't!

Yes, they are funded for now through the last raise, but we have also been there before: USD 1 mln for Zimbabwe, trucks, BB opening, and many raises in between.

I really hope this is not just another spin from the great spin doctor and he finally delivers something for shareholders.

Myosotis, that is not the point is it? You are suggesting that the park does the job of the UK gov. My point is that they shouldn't have to do so, regardless of whether they have already allowed some transport for a year or not. But one can always ask.

There IS g2b and you can see it for yourself on any online mapping device. The closest station is Briggswath, some 3 km away. However, I can't see the process being upturned again to go back t a rail link connection. The option has been looked at and discarded, hence they came up with the MTS.

UK gov needs to step in if they think this is important for UK PLC and the so called Northern Powerhouse.

I like your thinking. Or should I say your 'dreaming'.

Surely you will know the national parks will not allow 'some?' temporary transport through the park. And why should they. Their job is to protect the national park, not the UK PLC. The latter is the job of the government.

If the UK government thought it was in the UK PLC's interest to make this project work then they should act themselves, not rely on the national park authorities to wave their responsibilities.
