Although very true in general, it's a very dangerous thought to entertain here as it goes for other promises as well so what to think of those then?

I thought we were in a much better position due to the gov not wanting to be seen to default on promises like the license. The payments I see differently as they can be traded for percentage in the PSA so not paying would be incorporated in the negotiations of which we will be informed afterwards.

Well chrisev1 , apart from the minor detail that there are already a further 15 cores in various stages of analysis and I would be very surprised if we don't hear anything about those in the coming weeks. Presentations to make, AGM...
They can't keep that amount of news under wraps.

CB, as per my post of yesterday all they seem to have is 2 Mon Oz proven and a CEO who says the license extension will give them 15 mln. And even 40 mln.

Very strange for a CEO to say such when there is no proof. Believe at ones own peril.. Not impressed with how things are progressing here SP wise, but in for the long term so makes no difference what happens in the mean time and I prefer a BoD who base their views on facts.

So another mining share posted substantial SP gains over the past days. True, they already had 2 Mln ounce of Palladium proven. However, what set this SP off was the filing of a license extension and the message from the CEO that they would expect to have 15mln ounce now. Possibly 40...
No further proof or other, just the Message from the CEO.

What if GH would say something unfound like that....

I guess people are just not seeing it. Better for us as for a LH these swings make no difference. At worst it is a chance to buy in lower.

This was to be expected. Lots of PI are in strong profit and working on what the SP has done in the recent past on good news it spikes, and retraces. It will rise again but these are profit takers causing this. Not investors.
The long game is still as rock solid as it was.

Just go by the facts as reported in the Annex II of GGP RNS and NC Q3 report. That is all that is needed.

I keep getting back to this section of the commentary by GH.

"Assay results from drill holes HAD015 through HAD018 are considered excellent. Drilling conducted by Newcrest has confirmed higher grade mineralisation, broadened mineralised extents and extended the depth of observed mineralisation (now approximately 950 vertical metres below the unconformity). Drill results have defined up to four sub vertical zones of higher-grade mineralisation within a larger mineralised envelope."

BTB are they still advertising these jobs? They were doing so a couple of months ago as well. Maybe can't find anyone to go out there? Or are these different jobs.

Doesn't read like that for me Washers.
All it states is that if payments are made these payments will have the Tilapia license as security. So if for whatever reason AAOG does not deliver oil or stops delivering oil, the license is transferred to the off taker. That's all. Guess it is there because it is a prepayment deal.

People are complaining about not seeing a rig booked. Well, I think there is method in the madness.

There are two big things outstanding, the rig booking (and drilling) and the license granting.
I questioned WHY would you book a rig when the license is not in the bag signed and sealed yet? I'm not saying the license won't be given and in fact the gov has gone into writing that they will grant the license. BUT why would you book a rig BEFORE the signed license is in the bag and you know you can drill AND extract the oil that you KNOW is there. No one in their right mind would. It would reduce your leverage in the negotiations on the terms and PSA.

So, license first and then rig contract (and RNS). AAOG may already have an option on a rig and maybe even a planning, but that is in my view not cause for an RNS.

DB, he resigned from EER on the 30 March 2015. That is 4.5 years ago. Some 2.5 years later than his resignation, issues started with EER like the CVA. What does the insolvency/winding up process have to do with his involvement all these years back?
Would be interested to know why he was responsible for that and how.
