PG, JC, the gold price increase may or may not have an influence on the gold in ground price. This discussion to me seems quite premature as HAV is not producing and won't be for a couple of years yet. The gold price will only be a difference when you actually get the gold out of the ground. So, if the forecast of the gold price is to stay at say USD 1600 for the next 5 years then yes, the gold in ground price will increase and we would get more for anything in HAV that we wish to sell.
However, there will be risk factors involved in that pricing (up and down) as there is no guarantee that that price of gold will indeed be available over time. That is why they price these things on long term averages I'm afraid.
If NC paid usd 47/Oz for Redcriss on potential at gold price of usd 1100 then we should be seeing better than that for HAV at a higher gold price and even more when proven up more. How much more is next to impossible to determine at this stage. I bet it's nowhere near USD300/Oz. I wish it was true. But then again, it all depends on the market and forecast at that time.
