Antigua, if you can't see the relevance of prim putting one of their people, and not just anyone, on the Arv board, which holds prospects right on the GGP boarders , where prim hold significant amount of shares and where there seems to be massive finds then you're just gambling here as you clearly don't understand the significance of being so close to a major find. Or do you think prim just put him there to manage the cash burn?

Mercman, I think your option 2 is the way to go. Keeps NC in control and GGP in the process. All happy. Remember that NC need the gold and there is none other available at such short notice than HAV. Another reason to keep GGP on board is that GGP is clearly good at what they do, finding new gold deposits. If NC was good at it they would have found it themselves (well they did and gave it up ). It is far easier to have such a successful small and agile unit work through these early stages and then get involved when they come up with the interesting targets. Well, that is what I have always believed and still do. Of course, there are other routes to make that happen but with the JV in place this is I think how it best plays out.

GH may be a money man Oldtimer, but you can very clearly see that he is really enjoying the gold digging. Maybe exactly because of being a 'money man'. Everyone likes gold. Being in this allows him to play a role on the big stage (now that GGP have brought the world HAV) and continuing this is a lot easier than to start something from scratch again. I think he will stay the course. But if not, exactly because he is a money man he will not let go of the goose with the golden eggs for a pittance, and I do mean in the long run that £1bln is a pittance (for GGP in total that is). The man believes that GGP can find more of these HAV like prospects, you can clearly see that. But if he does leave, CB will stay the course and he very much is a mining man so GH does not have to stay the course (in GGP that is) to get the reward. He should just not give it up.

The luncheon next week PG may just be that. In these circles there are many, many of these and now that the party is starting GH does what he has to do, dance to the music and make waves. It will be beneficial at some stage.

The SP is actually holding up quite well considering the amount of selling that has been going on today and yesterday.
That alone should give the long term holders all the confidence they need.

Could be spratt. I haven't checked the dates. I'm just responding to red that they are unlikely to be early. I expect them on time as planned being Thursday or Friday.

Very unlikely red. Big corporations like NC go on their schedule, otherwise they spoil their bang but moreover, the set internal processes allow every BU input until certain times and they are set.

Must be big though as the trading in arv is still halted.

Trading halt until commencement of normal trading or until the announcement is released by the company.
Could be a while BTB.

Just to put our SP into perspective for people who are figuring out what is going on please have a think about this.

If there indeed is a 5M Oz resource out there at HAV (and I'm not saying there is that amount or whether it is higher or lower) then with our current SP of 2.37P and 3.6 bln shares in issue that provides us with the following gold in ground price:

£0.0237*3.6 bln shares = £85 mln MC. As we will have 30% of the project that makes the project value at £85 mln/0.3 = £284 mln project value. In USD this is £284 mln * 1.32 GBP/USD = USD 375 mln project value. Please bear in mind this project value is for HAV ONLY and does not include any value for any other project.

At 5 mln Oz this is a gold in ground value of USD 375 mln/ 5 mln Oz = USD 75/Oz. Again, this is only based on HAV and 5 mln Oz.

Make up your own mind what you think about that when the gold price is at USD 1575 /Oz..

PG, if II were going to buy they would be doing that by now. Therefore I can only conclude that they will wait for the update.
It makes sense too. II should have a lower risk appetite than the early investors here. By the same token, just the actions of NC are in my view a giveaway of where this is going. But that doesn't necessarily get buying in past the risk assessment of II.
