Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I notice that Olisol were late with a payment before: "Olisol has continued to inform the Company that the funds are subject to USD transfer restrictions imposed by the bank authorities in Kazakhstan, which have prevented further transfers within the contractually obligated timeframes." Tethys (Kulob Petroleum Limited KPL) don't seem to be entirely to blame for the arbitration proceedings: "Tethys, which has been operated in the country since 2008, signed a farm-out agreement and a production sharing agreement (PSA) with CNPC and Total in 2013, each party taking 33.33% in the Bokhtar project. CNPC and Total demand KPL withdraw from the project after it failed to meet its financial obligations. KPL, however, declined to do so in October forcing CNPC and Total to seek arbitration. Tethys had originally announced its intention to pull out of the project. The company was planning to sell its stake in the project to Britain-based Nostrum Oil & Gas, but the deal failed through."
So the court ruled in favour of Tethys on the 24th. That's something. What are the implications of the other 2 announcements?
I sincerely hope that all you long term investors do well with this. I don't know much about this company, though the recent RNS and Analyst rating sound very positive. Hopefully, they'll keep us updated on the new mines progress. Good news is always welcome!
I'm not sure. A lot of shares were bought on the 23rd of August after the update about Olison. Perhaps the next announcement will give things a boost.
I thought investors might have missed the announcement about the new mine at Cap-Oeste.
There has been a few trades today.
Does the private placing that ends today affect private investors, in others words, will we be offered anything?
It looks like PGD has flown under the radar for a lot of people.
The gentleman I spoke to said it was going back to court in the near future.
I called Tethys earlier to find out what the outcome of the court case was. Am I allowed to say? It wasn't bad...
Perhaps they're waiting until after the par value reduction on the 2nd of September. Will the par value reduction have an effect on the share price?
Sounds promising. I read this morning that Cantor Fitzgerald have updated their rating for this one.
It'll probably take a few days for the good news to spread around. It's interesting to read that Patagonia will be using a "heap leach" process to extract more gold. It reminded me of a similar process that they've been discussing on the Alexander Mining thread which led to a big share price increase.
I was hoping to see an upside in 2-3 days! I was just reading a link you posted before about the Patagonia region in Argentina and thought I'd add a translated version: "As part of the plan of Argentina's mining chamber (CMEA) for 2021, promising exports of US $ 25,000 million, contributions to the Treasury for US $ 6.5 billion and the ability to generate at least 40,000 new jobs (out of a total of 90,000 and existing direct and indirect). Three regions concentrate virtually all mining investment in the period: Cuyo, Northwest and Patagonia."
Thanks!
Same here. Maybe the court case was in an individuals name?
I've just dipped my toes into the world of share dealing with this one. Hope I've done the right thing! Cantor Fitzgerald have given it a target price of 3.00p.
