I also think the updates from Scancell are fine.
You wouldn't expect an engineering firm to go into technical details of their designs in an RNS, or a software company to give a detailed explanation of it's proprietary algorithms. Scancell could, perhaps, frame their RNS's better by explaining what the results/science means in terms of business opportunity, but then that's creating a 'rod for their own back' as investors would hold them to it. And the actual business use-case / value is not massively well defined for such a novel compound - the danger is the the RNS would become speculative, which is not what an RNS is for.
Those that want to do a deep-dive on research can do so (and we do!). That's what (good) analysts are for - to do this and offer the detail to those who are interested.

We know Modi1 response increases over time, so going from an aggressive tumour (which most of these would have been?) to stable means it is working as far as I can tell. Because the tumour growth has either slowed, stopped or gone into reverse.
And we would expect this trajectory to continue, so stable will become partial, which will become complete over time. That is if Modi1 is working as expected and as per the mouse models? This is very exciting!!!

I understand the stress of seeing the share price fall from it's highs, but really nothing has changed so this is simply an opportunity for some to increase holdings.
Everything is as it was immediately post-AGM.
All the things LD steered on in the last 12 months are happening - glymab deals, positive covidity results that validate avidimab and immunology, new chairman. No duds, no lies, the science is proving itself as expected.
So, we can be extremely confident that we WILL get:
- Positive modi1 initial data, and quite probably fantastic results that will once and for all lift the cloaking device.
- More glycan deals
- Scib1/CI initial data
- Possible deal(s) on immunobody
- Possible deal(s) on avidimab

We just don't know when. Scancell will go as fast as good science and best practice allow. And it's this adherence to science and good practice that makes the outcomes so certain. As always patience is key.
Are we nearly there yet? I think we just might be!

Well, probably, but bearing in mind what happened in humanised mice, it does seem a likely outcome.
I think Scancell are actually quite annoyed that information got leaked via the Macmillan forum, and the leak seems to have been plugged now.
We all know Scancell are conservative scientists and don't want to shout about stuff until they are 100% sure of it. Thus, they are not using effusive language in RNS, but simply stating the current situation without bells or whistles.
Data will come soon enough, then we will have all the bells and whistles. In the meantime, I am quietly adding as I'm sure others in the happy-clappy camp are.

Not going mad Johnny, I think there is an error on the website - it says "As at 22 November 2022 the percentage of AIM securities not in public hands was: 45.59%",
But the list of large holders adds to approx 50% ?
Am I wrong in thinking those two numbers should be the same, or at least 'percentage not in public hands should be >= to the list of large shareholders?

Did some work for this outfit in 2021 - they are an IT body shop. Not a bad one, but not especially good either.
Lots of hype about being passionate about making the public sector better, but it's just marketing.
Most of the revenue is paid out to IT professionals (like me) - obviously Madetech make a margin, but they have expenses, and like most employers in IT, they have quite a high staff turnover, so lots of costs in training and staff 'on the bench' between placements.
Not saying it's a bad investment, but I would caution on 2 fronts:
1. There is lots of competition - alternative body shops, direct contractors, permanent employees.
2. Specialising in govt. sector in the UK may not be especially profitable right now with Rishi and Hunt about to clamp down on costs across the board.

I'm not a shareholder, and don't intend to be, so no particular bias here.
Just posting so I can get a cheeky ramp in for the share I am massively enthusiastic about - Scancell (SCLP). They have one of the most exciting cancer treatments (possibly a 'cure') that is already showing amazing results in human trials, and are massively under the radar.

KonarA. you are right, there is another Macmillan post where someone is trying to get their Dad on the Modi-1 trial because of the positive posts from the others.

I have always though Scancell, and in particular Moditope, was potentially worth many billions. It's why I'm heavily invested here, and along with many others who post here, I have amassed a 7 figure holding, and any sp north of 50p is gonna be life changing.
I hope I can see through my own confirmation bias, but I sense a shift in attitude both wiithin Scancell and towards Scancell.
Where talk of £8 a share was ridiculed, it is now being taken seriously, and there has even been mention of £80 a share.
These kind of possible sp multiples are why most of us are invested. If Moditope works, as more knowledgeable posters have explained, we have, dare I say it, a whole new industry, that Scancell own the IP too. What price? £8 looking on the low side IMO.

And the fact is almost incalculable for both the company and the entire oncology industry.
