It’s a real conundrum. Smells like the £211m wasn’t true, look at the growth jump and it just doesn’t seem possible. Now revenue has dropped like a stone and looks like it will drop further. Why they could sell in the US when the US had / has a testing shortage beggars belief - Holding on as it seems soo oversold but maybe not….

(Sharecast News) - Car dealership chain Lookers revealed on Monday that Constellation Automotive had purchased 78.0m ordinary shares in the group, representing approximately 19.90% of its issued share capital.
The London-listed firm said the majority of the sock was purchased by Constellation's Tony Bramall, who stepped down from the board of Lookers in December 2020 after 14 years with the company, at a price of 102.0p each.

As predicted people waking up to the free money, From a slight negative start first thing it’s starting to gain traction now. I’m still at 95p ish by close today, then 150p c. 8 months time or earlier if we get a takeover bid which I strongly believe will happen within 3 months - Let’s see….

Cash is king, so ability to generate surplus ROI’s and scalable net profit and cash at significant size that absorb fixed costs are way better than these tiny non disruptive companies like Kromek.

Tiny company, old technology, playing in a big boys area. Companies this small shouldn’t be floating IMHO………Mmmh.

Especially now we know it’s Brammels investment machine at work grabbing 20% at 102p. I think everyone is a bit sleepy this winter’s Monday morning. I think we will close at 95p by market close today….

Well with a installation clearly agreeing with BOD that Lookers is significantly undervalued and the update today things are very rosy in the garden. It’s a no brainer we are worth more than 102p NOW. I think this is closest thing you get to free money at very very low risk. I’m sitting on 120k shares now and recently invested following the money that really knows (Tony Brammell). He might building a stake to take the company private, it is likely to hit a minimum 150p inside next 6-12 months without any takeover speculation so at 90 to 95p it’s an incredible investment. (All IMHO).

Normally the unpaid £73m would be shown as revenue as that’s effectively not in dispute. The £129m hit would be worst case scenario. The £19m provision is effectively removed from bottom line but won’t be enough if we loose if we we win it’s back in. We seemed to go for an£11m revenue company to a £211m revenue in one year which doesn’t smell right (too good to be true). CEO leaving a bloody mess behind him frankly. I think and hope we can close the legal
Case, then can clean up the balance sheet and by the next set of results a lot more clarity be established. Investors won’t go near uncertainty or opaqueness and time will out. The key is the net cash and retained cash on the Balance sheet after the legal case is closed. GLA - Who knows???

Really makes me wonder - MM Selling at a 52 week low, why now why at such a low price?

When you look at the 650p and 500p fundraising for growth being totally supported and now with targets generally being met it beggars belief really. Fair value must be around 400p worst case. If they generate contributing cash to the bottom line and clear debt then there will be a complete reversal northwards. MM ain’t gonna issue any RNS’s aside the results or the standard trading updates. They gotta let the bottom line numbers do the talking and show the business model works over 18 months (3 more result sets). I’m in big and long and do think this will prove to be a great company and the SP will eventually rise to reflect that. GLA investors.

Does look like enourmous stake building going on now. It’s cash, inventory, assets per share are a little north of 100p. So take out 115p plus or minus 10p. SP needs get higher to stop this low ball take over. A year from now will 150p plus. I think this will jump again when the market opens this morning.

I would say a forward P/E of around 15. We don’t have a positive historic P/E due to a slight loss. However after next year end results we should be on huge re rating (Inventory and execution of strategy assumed). At that time I expect fair value of 150p broker ratings citing c. 190p

RBC upped its rating to 'outperform' from 'sector perform'. It left its price target unchanged at 500p.

As at 1200 GMT, shares in THG were ahead 3% at 124.55p.

In May 2021, THG struck a $2.3bn deal with Japanese conglomerate Softbank. Under the terms of the deal, Ingenuity will be spun into a separate company with Softbank having the option to acquire a 19.9% stake for $1.6bn, which values the unit at around $6.3bn.

Why are the Directors selling such massive amounts of stock, looks very all very inside coincidental. Pump via Daily mail Midas while we dump. Is there a reason for these lowly valuations.

Broker ratings are always higher than true fair value it seems to me, the 480p mark doesn’t seem a stretch. Yes a lot of acquisitions and a little margin off from freight and copper prices. But copper is hedged and passed on with a slight delay due to the normal averaging out period needed as they said in their updates. Also the cost of borrowing is very low, so accelerated acquisition purchasing now is shrewd as we are starting to enter higher borrowing costs and a lot are fixed aside the rolling which probably have contractual lags before rates go higher. Agree it’s all about paying the right prices and integration of the acquisitions. There is enormous global customer synergy from these strategies and big global OEM’s like the reduced global risks from partnership with big CEM’s like Volex. I think we will see a big swing north in their next trading updates unless we have a global black swan event. (China - TW or Russia - Ukraine or Biden dropping down dead etc). All of which will be transitory in time of course.

Well we got broker dropping price from 750p to 700p upgrading to buy. Then we got Russ Mould (Citywire) saying fully valued until 2 / 3 quarters in row with real tangible growth. Clearly totally unloved as the SP shows us. I was surprised the update was so harsh on the SP after the reading I thought it would have added 100p (What do I know eh). What do others think, SP should have gone north or south and why? Cheers

I’m sure the next Trading update RNS will start to kick the SP back to the 480p range it was before. Markets are choppy and price risen quickly so not surprising to see some profit taking. Bigger picture It’s a very well run company and the acquisitions well chosen. It’s also pretty niche in that it’s true LT global so as OEM’s expand like say Tesla in Berlin. It can supply from its European factories. It’s EV growth opportunities are globally enormous not to mention all its cloud data products as well. It’s not surprising to see the BOD acquiring serious volumes of shares and zero selling. Glad to be onboard for the ride.
