RE: Closing Numbers 16.324 Aug 2021 19:13
There is no way whatsoever that the special dividend will be in the region of 35p. First, the Nomad said it was "massive" and also that it has to be massive otherwise the board would not do the deal. They would just mine themselves. In fact, the whole reason they have the Sinosteel EPC deal lined up is to make the ability to mine themselves a credible option. Second, the deliberately conservative ACF valuation - which is a reasonable guide as to the board's thinking - is c.76p. So that's a bare minimum right there. Third, we have been through an extremely long process with multiple bidders and multiple proposals. It's very unlikely that those proposals went from, say, 20p up to 35p. They wouldn't have even got into the data room to do their due diligence. Fourth, this is the *last* non-consolidated palladium play on earth. Once it's gone, it's gone. That's it. Game over. We're reaching the endgame: ignore the noise and the green coffins spewing their jub juice all over their creepy games of soggy biscuits, and keep your eyes on the prize. The share price is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the big number - which, in my view, has a £ sign in front of it - sitting in Dmitri's golden envelope awaiting the Nyud licence and JORC competent person's report to be signed off.
