Agreed, while they are not aware of FURTHER material reasons why the share price might be increasing, the existing reported news is more than enough to sustain those rises (and by implication there is plenty more going on behind the scenes that is not yet material but could be at any moment).

Agreed, but it might be a very straight line if one of the big US pharma companies decides to pull the trigger and pursue a buyout. Even $500m would be chicken feed to them. But that’s a quid a share.

Reading between the lines of that carefully worded RNS, I think it’s interesting that they said the company itself knows no material reason for the rise beyond info already in the public domain. As in, IMM don’t know anything. Of course they don’t, they’ve only had conversations. But plenty of other people in other boardrooms, many of them in the US, will be having conversations too, and IMM have no control who those people are talking to about these treatments.

Who's trading right now? Surely most of the traders were out on this morning's spike up towards 7p. Anyone in now is locked in for the next leg up. Nobody with half a brain selling at 5.5p IMO.

Three implications: (i) "not aware of" does not mean nothing is happening behind the scenes, it clearly is; (ii) "any further material commercial or operational reason" does not mean something that is at present immaterial is not happening, it clearly is; (iii) given the announcement they have already made earlier in January, the share price could be a lot higher on the basis of existing material info.

And back up we go again!

Eurasia isn't going to fail. The war is coming to an end, value will return. They'll either sell the assets once the Russian state reduces its haircuts and exit taxes or they'll engage in an MBO via Kazakhstan. They've got more than enough cash to keep going until either of these eventualities comes to pass.
