With the sp what it is, would be be so bad for BHP to buy in the open market if they could not do any deals with other large holders, even if the price rises fairly rapidly on a daily basis they would still be getting a steal. After all everyone already knows their intentions. So no need to hide from notifications to the market

If the whole company is sold we will get no upside from any of the other tenements, you can be sure the buyer will pay peanuts at this stage. I very much prefer a sale of Cascabel with us keeping a 10% free carry share and keeping the company intact holding all the remaining acreage

Good advice, but I would add it can go both ways!
I was in during the environmental licence days, saw the price go from 1.5p to around 14p then back to 3p. I did not sell one. Older and wiser a few years later( the Maxim and Newcrest days) I started to top slice from 9p. Although I still held loads and was still top slicing at 44_ 45p etc etc if I worked out what top slicing to early cost me it would be in the tens of thousands, so good advice can turn into bad advice in a situation like this, although I know you mean well. You have to do what's right for you!

On the positive side. At one of the conferences last year. It was reported that Nick was seen working out on a piece of paper where all the shares are. He has been expecting a move like this for some time, so hopefully he and the board are well prepared.

Nick and the allies need to start buying in the opwn market. I dont trust BHP. The low share price over the last year could hurt us.

If BHP build up a big enough stake, could that make us easy pray for a cheap takeover?
