Well something is happening.
We have 2 reported sightings of drilling at other tenements and brokers speculating about streaming deals all the while there is a news black out.

Sounds positive on the whole to me.
Looks like we are already drilling in Blanca. I wonder why no RNs?

If you were buying a house you wanted, why not just not put in an offer and wait for the seller to get so desperate, that a few years later he just gives it to you for nothing. It could work in theroy!
But the problem is, if the house is any good, someone in the mean time might come in, and you've guessed, actually make an offer!

This could help us in some way.
Moreno can restore some fuel subsidy in return for more cooperation in future mining, maybe cancel some tenement permits in sensitive areas too with the understanding that a good few mines will have to be built for the benefit of the future economy.

There are also anti mining protests in Peru that will lead to delays.
This gives me confidence,as it is not Equador specific.

Funny how all the reports I've read mention nothing about mining. Including the BBC report. They say the protesters are calling for an end to austerity and a return to fuel subsidies . Nothing about mining. I don't recall riots after the referendum was thrown out of court.

What you have to remember about civil unrest, is that it is committed by a tiny proportion of the population. It does not necessarily represent what the average Joe public actually thinks.

Think the riots of 2011 or extinction rebellion. How many people actually agreed with the rioting or the way extinction rebellion behave? Maybe lots of teenagers or the loony left? But the mass millions who actually vote? I doubt it. The ones with the loudest voices usually talk the most nonsense.

There are genuine people out there who most decent people feel for including myself.
But believe me having been born in the east end of London and growing up there as a child in the 1970's, I did "get to know most of these people" and believe me most played the system. To this day I regularly come across it.
