Just wondering. Before lenin Moreno took power, there was a good few on here who knew that he was pro mining.
He has been very good for solg imo.
Does anyone have any ideas what the latest situation is in Ecuador with regard to the polls. Is Moreno likely to get re elected?
Who is the main opposition and what is their stance on mining?

I agree, this does look like NM is serious about going to production.
The one major caveat is that BHP are not there just to be a minority shareholder. Not what they do.

Very strange how JW mentioned permits end of June, then radio silence. Lots of PI's have emailed the company including myself for confirmation, no one seems to have received a reply.
I mentioned this a week or 2 back with some suggesting that the company were correct not to confirm.
I can't see why this should be the case. JW said one thing in an interview and Nick said another via RNS, reasonable to expect clarification from the company.

They seem to have really cut down on communication this year.

The deal with BHP has already been done. The 2 year stand still agreement is for 2 years, giving solg time the prove up the whole of Cascabel and get a good handle on the other tenements, this gives solg a fair price and puts BHP first in line. Everyone's happy.
Why else sign that agreement?

As you also know cascabel does not have high grade, apart from the high grade core. It's all about the tonnage, which is one of the biggest discoveries in YEARS!
