I also spent time volunteering in a church providing people with a free Sunday lunch. What annoyed me was that after lunch 90% of them went outside for a cigarette, this was after telling me how they could not afford food.
Most of them had clearly had a drink or 2 the night before too.
Social inequality? More like " why pay for food when someone else will give it to you for free, thats good money you could be spending on booze fags and drugs," and of course the betting shop where most of them spend their afternoons.

The civil unrest, unnerved me at first but having thought about it I'm not to concerned at the moment.
It's about fuel subsidies being taken away. Nothing to do with mining as far as I know. The country can no longer afford the subsidy . If anything this could strengthen the need for mining.
The government has stated the need to move away from reliance on oil and mining is the best bet to achieve that aim.
This could bring a few people who are sitting on the fence about mining over to the pro side.

No they cant buy on the open market. They are in a standstill agreement until next year. Its at solgs discretion to issue new shares and the two parties agree a price. BHP gets more bang for their buck without breaking the agreement at a price that still massively under values the asset, a year early. What will they pay next year when they are free to buy in the open market? Post PFS and other discoveries made?

I would not be surprized if the funds raised will be at 40p per new share. BHP will be very happy to pay that for new shares

We are going down for one reason, and one reason only. Everyone knows we have a fund raise coming. It's happened before when cash is running down, it happens to every explorer.
We have dropped to 20p a couple of times in recent years.
The raise will be with BHP imo and it will be at a premium.
When it happens we will rise again.
I'm not fussed about lack of news, we are drilling the edges of the system and RNS's about 0.5 copper over a few hundred meters are not going to raise anyones blood pressure. There seems to be a few clues going around, that we are already drilling in other tenements, if so,an RNS could arrive around funding news with some results. Bob's your uncle!

The day to day sp will not effect the fund raise price. Nick will know well in advance if BHP are up for it. BHP payed a large premium in the past and we do so again. That's why he is not to bother about the current situation, it's a done deal. It all fits in with the standstill agreement.The whole thing was based on BHP coming back in at a later stage

I don't think either side is worried about the day to day so. Nick will know if BHP are up for a raise and the price they pay will not have anything to do with the so.

By the way, I don't think there has been a news black out. There was a Cascabel update in July, if you read far enough down there were plenty of grades mentioned. Itsj ust the main jam has already been found and they are just adding the extra bits to the pie.
No point in releasing a RNS just to say we have a hole with .5 copper just like the last hundred and twenty seven.

Be very careful about engaging with ericeric, he tried to talk holders of Solg into selling for years when the SP hovered around 3p, he never posted again on that board, after a 13 fold increase to 46p. I know of at least one poster who could not take the stress in the 3p days because they were perhaps over invested. They sold out. God knows how they felt seeing the price at 46p a year or so later.
Now ericeric is here spreading doom and gloom exactly the way he was on the solg a couple of years ago.
He is probably a sociopath or at least a thoroughly nasty individual
