How about this for a conspiracy theory.
That despite all the nice spin we are all trying to put on it, that maybe, just maybe, the company have made some massive mistakes. Did anyone consider that?

Are we now saying, they have found enough gold to change the mine design?
Are we now saying open pit possibility?
And all this after working on the PFS over a year.

No doubt the mining ministry will be looking at this.
I dont think this looks very good for solg or their reputation.

People say look at the bigger picture. I say yes, but look after you reputation too.

I agree, we are moving in the right direction now. But the question must be asked. Why were these things not done from the beginning with the PFS.
Why even start it, if you are then going the drill other targets around it?
It's what virtually everyone says. Solg are good explorers, they are not miners. Nick's ego has cost the company. And you were sacked My lad!

Lots of observers were surprised that, Cornerstone did not take up Solg's offer. They felt that cornerstone shareholders, were mislead.
Conclusion is cornerstone were right as usual.
It was not just about the price. Why would cornerstone want to have their own destiny taken out of their own hands and given over to solg?
They have constantly said that solg and Mather do not know what they are doing.
They have been proved right yet again.
There is a lot of angst against warren irvin on this board, and a lot of hero worship for Nick.
Having listened to Irvin over the years and following the story here. I think we are the ones who have been played.

My initial instinct was right on this.
I did not believe there was one.
Whenever solg go quiet, it's because there is no news or bad news. It's a trait of theirs.

Its sounds to me like, they are starting to think, that perhaps it's not economic after all. Could that explain the very late decision to delay the PFS. Did they look at it and say, s h I t , this does not add up. Would we put it past them now?

What was he thinking when he said, the PFS would be out in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Back last year.
How could such a lack of foresight or knowledge of what is happening on the ground, be acceptable with someone in hes position.

Does anyone have a line of communication with him?
If you do, might be worth asking a straight question .
What a going to happen here?
If we want to know anything, it has to come from him or cornerstone now.
Solg are utterly untrust worthy.

Are we supposed to believe that they did not have a fairly good idea that this was going to happen before the AGM?
When they groveled for PI votes.
Funny they keeped the fact, that they made a mess of the whole mine design quite.
Not only are they incompetent they are chancers as well.

So 7 years after the first drill went into Alpala, after 7 years of telling us about block cave. And 6 months after the PFS was supposed to be finished, they think it might have open pit potential somewhere in the tenement.

I think someone will make a bid soon. The trouble is, as the Italian said, we could have sold it 3 years ago probably for more money. If that proves to be the case, it will be down to mistakes from the board as redknight pointed out.
At that stage, we wont be able to help you anymore. But you will always have the boards reassurances ringing in your ears to keep you going. All the best.

Maybe the board have tried to be to clever for their own good, and Nick stepping down was the realization of that.
Most people on here feel the notion of going it alone is folly.

I have not commented on TA in ages.

Seems to me that one level then leads on to another level in either direction, so that it then becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
I always hear things like, if it goes up to this level it could then go up to this level but if it goes down to that level it could then fall further to this level. All within about 5 % of each other. If you analyse what a TA technician is telling you, he can actually never be wrong.

I use TA myself, in certain situations. But with a share like this, I think it has very limited use, in high or low news periods.

we have seen time and time
again the sp rises quickly on good news and drifts back down
again. The only thing that's seems to hold true is the resistance around the 40p mark which has been a bugger to break.

That's the point I'm making. How useful is the TA most of the time? Not very!
