Many thanks to those who have contributed: and yes, much better than I, a mere punter. And now I recall quite recently the point that for SNG001 to work it can only be used on a certain group of patients. Fingers crossed that there are enough of these around to fill the trial and that the questionnaire is quite specific in asking questions that allow only those eligible for improvement to take part.
Thank you jint: so might I ask to be refreshed on what was it that they were on that that messed up the trial? Whatever it was let us hope that they are not on it this time and that all the boxes are ticked. As you will have guessed my medical knowledge is limited to muscles so got attracted to SNG cos lungs work closely with muscles. Still not sure yet that SNG001 is any better than a blue asthma inhaler but hope to be proved wrong this time around. ATB
Brighty: re 1 : is that not the whole big thing point: had that been proven for definite we would surely not be at 10p. But it wasn't proven because the trial was f *^& d as the patients were on other stuff as well.
re 2 : don't doubt "potential" - just hope that this time they can prove it
Good luck Monte & Brighty et al.
Be nice to think so AJ: and as I have posted before I just hope that this time they have a box asking "Are you taking any other medication such as steroids?" Even a Professor with a Sir-ship might have learnt by now. ATB
PS: not sure those who handed RM 175p ps will be happy yet AJ! ATB
I think that this time around I will get out at 225p even if the Broker does predict £5. I trust RM will be getting one of his Conference Speeches from his filing cabinet in readiness for the winter season in warmer climes. Anyone else having a touch of the DVs?
Hexl us mere punters really would appreciate your Crystal Balls prediction before 8am tomo. Many pundits are very good with hindsight but your foresight is second to none. ATBALTHs
Thank you, as ever, for your advice hexl and as ever I fear I must refuse however well intentioned. I used to do the pools but found AIM a much more interesting punt and you learn a lot about people from the BBs. Never done the Lottery so for the moment, despite your suggestion, I will stick with the Bids pony who seems to have grown another leg this week. Always enjoy your insights so do please let us all know where your Crystal Balls tell you the SP will be this time next Friday. ATBALTHs
Well done again hexl: but for your prediction of today's 20% rise I might have bailed out. Pure genius: and well spread. Just don't know how you do it but makes for a bit of amusement so thank you. ATBALTHs
Too right hexl: so pleased that you forecast today's 17% rise: I might have sold up but for your shrewd insights; however, it's Girdsy that I rely on to tell it as it is, but as he as previously stated we must not wake him up until next spring - though that didn't work last time and I fear he will be back soon to the delight of all his fans. ATB to ALTHs and BB sceptics.
Good question email but you should ask someone with insight and authority....such as errm, well, someone who has filled this BB with spurious minute by minute comments for the last few years....such as....errm: sorry, forgotten but I'm sure he will pop up to help before long. ATB
Many thanks rigga: much appreciated by those of us in the Mushroom Club on AIM who are told to DYOR but for whom MKA is a "hunch" based upon snippets of info and a readiness to take a punt. ATB
Quite right gp: my morning top up shows as a sell.
Thanks rigga: a good read. Been here since I don't know when but beginning to feel that it just might have been worth the wait. AIM rewards patience imo but this has not been for the faint-hearted! ATB and GLALTHs
So with all the "good" news SP is today down again and about half where I came in. To go or to stay: that is the question. Any further analysis would be of interest..........
Again, bonga: thank you. An interesting read. And well said Bandstand: won't go down well with the old guard but it does bring a smile as I await the deluge of scepticism (putting it politely). ATB
Interesting contribution bonga: thank you. Looking forward to the vitriol it will attract: ATB
Ps Meant to add that Prof PSD: reminds me of an occasion in my youth when a local firm went bust. I was sympathetic but was told not to worry too much: I would never see the MD on a bicycle.
I believe that the high before the revelation that "the right patients had not been chosen" was 220p ish with much talk of fast cars being anticipated and a broker prediction of £5ps. I trust that said broker continues safely in his job with no fear of being taken to account and that RM will continue his visits to those who by now must be fond acquaintances for further "conferences" in warmer climes as winter approaches. Hopefully he will pick up a patient or three who will respond to treatment and who has not ticked the box that says "Are you on any other medication?" It's a hard life........
Very relieved to know that there is enough in the kitty for RM to jolly off on the Conference Round held in warmer climes over the winter months. I doubt that I would have been alone in my reluctance to cough up a few quid at 7pps let alone 175pps to finance the operation. Just hope that this time around they ask the carefully chosen candidate(s) "Are you taking any other medication?" It won't be easy to find one considering how much anti- plague and anti-flu stuff is being, and has been, pumped into us. Nevertheless, needs must, so I will continue to follow the "research" with interest.
