In light of the ongoing progress being achieved by Genflow, the Board of Directors has proactively decided to restructure both itself and the Company's Scientific Advisory Board ("SAB"). This step has been taken to align with the Company's current objectives and priorities in the US, including the OTCQB application previously announced, as outlined below:

(a) Tamara Joseph, the Company's US-based Non-Executive Director, has been promoted to Chairperson of the Board. Her experience in financing, coupled with her familiarity with the US public markets, will play a crucial role going forward.

Tamara has an impressive track record in public and private financings, having supported Nasdaq financings in excess of $800m. Her expertise in the field of finance is further strengthened by her academic credentials, which include a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and LLM degrees from the College of Europe in Belgium and the University of Paris.

Having served as an adviser to the boards of five US publicly traded biotechs, Tamara has demonstrated a strong ability to lead companies. Her promotion is a recognition of her expertise and strengthens the Company's links with the US market.

Yassine Bendiabdallah , will remain a key member of the Board and will continue to act as a Non-Executive Director.

(b) Vera Gorbunova PhD, has been promoted to Chairperson of the SAB. Dr Gorbunova is an endowed Professor of Biology at the University of Rochester, New York, and Co-Director of the Rochester Ageing Research Center, where her research focuses on the mechanisms of longevity and genome stability, as well as studies on exceptionally long-lived mammals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Gorbunova has received numerous awards for her work, including from the Ellison Medical Foundation, the Glenn Foundation, the American Federation for Ageing Research, and the National Institutes of Health. Her research has also been recognized with the Cozzarelli Prize from PNAS, the prize for research on ageing from ADPS/Alianz (France), the Prince Hitachi Prize in Comparative Oncology (Japan), and the Davey Prize from Wilmot Cancer Center.

As Chairperson of the SAB, Dr. Gorbunova's outstanding contributions to the field of longevity and her invaluable insights in this sector will be instrumental in guiding the Company's scientific research. This appointment is a testament to her expertise and achievements in the field.

Loxley could be worth up to £124mln net to UKOG, in the ‘mid-case’ scenario, the company highlighted in a statement.

The new competent person's report (CPR) was penned by consultant RPS Energy, which based the study on an estimated 31bn cubic feet contingent gas

UKOG said will now advance its programme which already has planning and environmental consents in place for an appraisal well, Loxley-1.

At present, the well is slated for the 2024 season and it is anticipated that it could be funded through a partnership.

"The CPR confirms that Loxley, one of the UK's largest onshore gas discoveries, possesses material present value in today's prevailing higher gas price world,” said chief executive Stephen Sanderson.

“Its potential future revenue streams have the capacity to deliver material shareholder value in the foreseeable future and its recoverable resources to contribute towards the UK's future energy security.”

“Loxley's illustrated potential commercial robustness also means that UKOG can now plan to fund a future development via normal conventional oil and gas debt funding.

“The option of a farmout, where UKOG's costs are carried by a new partner, remains a further viable funding option.

“Our focus will, therefore, now be on implementing the necessary steps to deliver the planned Loxley-1 appraisal programme during 2024 and, if successful, gas production and sales targeted from 2026.”

Sanderson, meanwhile, noted that the plan for monetising the Loxley gas envisages its reforming into low-carbon blue hydrogen and in the long-term, after it is depleted by 2036, it is intended that it could be used for hydrogen storage.

From memory there's c15 well sites at Wytch Farm with multi-pad well locations. Gla :-)

More than 200 production wells have been drilled at Wytch Farm over the years, most using a technique known as extended reach drilling. Extended reach drilling makes use of directional drilling, which enables the direction and deviation of a well towards a target that is not immediately below the drilling pad.

In the case of Wytch Farm, this has enabled multiple wells to be drilled from single locations. This enabled the previous operators and now the current operators Perenco to reach the oil beneath Poole Harbour, which otherwise would have been inaccessible due to the environmentally sensitive nature of the harbour and surrounding wetlands.

Sea water has been injected into the rocks to maintain pressure and ensure more oil flows out, a common practice in many late life oil fields.

Much of Wytch Farm's substantial production come from 15 wells all producing by water injection, HH has produced 200,000 barrels so far, water injection to follow. Gla :-)

Pinarova-1 lies equidistant between the 12 billion Mount Gabar discovery announced in December 2022 and this weeks 1 billion discovery in Cirze...and no doubt shares similar geology and potential....Pinarova-1 only needs a modest discovery to send Ukog's sp to new highs, commensurate to the current rockbottom low, and the last throw of the dice by the anti-Ukog brigade with two final court cases in June for HH expansion plans and Loxley onshore gas development and production which will be a complete game changer with potential gas revenues for Ukog at Loxley estimated at £125m plus. Plenty of oil, onshore Turkey to be discovered. Gla :-)

The well, called Sehit Aybuke Yalcin-1 and located 20 kilometers (12 miles) northwest of Cizre town, currently produces some 10,000 barrels of oil per day, TPAO said.

The state oil company said it would drill back-to-back appraisal wells and construct the full field development plan by the end of the year. The production target is set for 100,000 barrels per day, more than doubling Turkey's oil production.

Turkey, which has little oil and gas, imports nearly all of its energy needs. The country consumed 246 million barrels of imported crude oil in 2022, in addition to 29 million barrels of locally produced crude oil, according to official data.

Turkey is dependent on imports from Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran, as well as liquefied natural gas imports. Ankara is also developing a 710 billion cubic-meter natural gas field in the Black Sea for production.

Turkey discovers 1 bln barrels of oil in field of southeast province of Sirnak

Turkey has discovered 1 billion barrels of oil in a field in the southeast province of Sirnak, Turkish Petroleum (TPAO) said late on Wednesday, in the largest onshore oil find in the country.

TPAO has drilled 2,771 meters deep so far and found a more than 162 meter light oil-bearing reservoir, it said, with further prospects to be explored in the area.

The mega oil discovery announced December 2022 in the Mount Gabar area in SE Turkey is 98km from Pinarova-1, and no doubt shares similar geology. Gla :-)

Türkiye discovers $12 billion onshore oil reserve

Türkiye discovered 150 million barrels of net oil reserves in a southeastern mountain, valued at $12 billion, President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan announced on Monday.

"We discovered 150 million barrels of net oil reserves in Gabar Mountain. It is one of the top 10 onshore discoveries in 2022. The reserve value is approximately $12 billion," ErdoÄŸan said after a Cabinet meeting in the capital Ankara.

"We produce 5,000 barrels (of oil) per day in four wells in this region, which has a very high oil quality," he added.

ErdoÄŸan said the daily production of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), which was around 40,000 barrels five years ago, has increased to 65,000 barrels today.

Ankara aims to increase its daily production to 100,000 barrels in the centennial of the Republic of Türkiye, with more seismic research, more drilling and productivity-enhancing methods, he added.

"While many oil and natural gas companies were throwing in the towel during the pandemic, Turkish Petroleum accelerated its exploration and production activities. With 34 more discoveries in 2021 alone, we added another 71 million barrels to our current reserve," ErdoÄŸan said.

The US listing is imminent indeed, and wouldn't be surprised if Genflow have a flow of material news in the pipeline to coincide with the listing to maximise and galvanise US investor interest. Gla holders...a very exciting year ahead and plenty of UPside I reckon, hand in hand with whatever transpires from the US. :-)

The Company has had to take account of additional factors that may increase the expected cost to drill the well, including: higher costs associated with the well planning (including the survey costs and change of location or deviation); and higher rig rates and service company and vessel costs. On the other hand, these may be somewhat mitigated by lower fuel costs (since the peak level of oil prices) and Tower also expects lower mobilisation/demobilisation costs with the rigs it is currently considering. Furthermore, the Company is now working on the assumption that it may no longer be practical to undertake a full DST (flow test to surface) immediately, given the long lead times on test equipment, especially if the Company is to drill in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter of this year, but the Company is working on an alternative method to achieve a shorter period flow test which will also reduce costs.



The Company's current cost estimate to complete the NJOM-3 well is approximately $15.5 million.
