You’re 100% correct BS -the company will start to run out of money if it just keep digging holes without generating any income/revenue.
If we come to this point Bird will just get out his confetti machine and issue hundreds of millions of shares for peanuts.-par for the course for Bird run companies -total disregard for shareholders’ interests.
Shuvlin -we have a mature profitable business in SA which we are apparantly selling at a discount to book value with proceeds receivable over an extended period.
Pgm prices are just beginning to rise -hence SLP have new income streams coming online
Share buybacks,dividends,sticks to budgets,delivers projects within stated time scales,low number of shares in issue and does not issues shares like confetti.
Any sensible deal would have a provision to share in any uplift in PGM prices.

I agree with the strategy -I just think the sale price is far too low bearing in mind the PGM market outlook -$150-$200 million and I think most would be happy -hopefully there could be a counter offer

Exactly Levistubbs -the shareprice reflects the performance of Bird in actually delivering returns the shareholders-it is much easier to spout General hot air about copper prices than actually getting deals with other companies across the line.
In just over 4 weeks we will be half through yet another year with the shareprice now constantly below a 1p?
When is something actually going to happen here that moves the shareprice up?
