The shareprice fell back recently due to a large sell share by the FD from which it is not recovered much.

If the sell had not taken place we would probably be in the early 90s

Thanks Analytical -only problem is that Bird was saying very similar things when the Luansobe licence was granted last year and he is gone quiet on production at Luansobe ever since-everything Bird says about bringing assets into production should be taken with a large pinch of salt!

The response to the news here was very subdued -perhaps the company should be renamed Met2 and the shareprice might shot up to beyond a £1!

Would be great if the share price could perform like Met1 has over the past couple of months

AfricanPioneer have been granted a production licence-judging by the complete lack of activity in the relation to the production licenses granted here nothing to get excited about

Analytical and Chrisp I love your enthusiasm but a couple of buys of a couple of thousand quid is very unlikely to move the price up significantly (still stuck below 1p).

The only thing that will move the shareprice significantly will be a deal on one of the company’s prospects -could be near or months (even years) away

Read a few articles this morning -would be vary hard for Iran to “close down the Gulf” and it would be shooting itself in the foot by preventing its own oil exports .

Has a date actually been set or is it just wishful thinking that someone will provide a decent date?

Want indication of actual milestones/progress and not another couple of hours of general waffle on the future of copper prices

Prefer a large deal announcing RNS to boast the shareprice than another “hot air waffling” interview about the prospects of copper in the coming years.

RNS then interview rather than another interview followed by nothing

If Mr Bird is unwell/incapacitated who is in a position to step in and run GLR and actually close any deal that might be currently close to be concluded -

Think it only fair to shareholders to provide information regarding the current situation regarding the running of the company -does it make it more prone to a takeover bid in the absent of a “fully functioning” CEO.

Except for Mr Bird there are two executive directors (finance and technical) and two non executives

Have said it many times -we need a full time CEO -seriously wonder how many hours Bird spends on GLR per week.?

Analytical -we know all about the assets -it is time that Bird actually did something with them-sitting on licences with a finite live achieves nothing

Agree-shareholders deserve better -hiding behind NDA is not a “cart blanch” for total silence.

Don’t know what’s going on-once again nothing appears to have come to fruition despite Iky’s hints a few week back.

When will Bird devote sufficient time here to actually provide a payday for shareholders?

Platinium price continues to rocket -will selling the PGM operation in SA be a huge mistake or just added to the continued list of routine set backs here.

The shareprice would surely be at least 5p if the SA sale had not been announced -time to renegotiate the deal or pull out.

At least JLP will benefit from the higher platinium price while the management dither on producing the sale circular

It is bad management to announce the proposed sale and not following it up immediately with the detailed “Proposed Sale Circular” -hence all the speculation here and a drifting shareprice.

Bird seems to have lost interest here -total contempt for the longterm shareholders here hence the shareprice can’t even get above 1p

As the months role bye no news is not necessarily good news -

There is a big difference between a realist and a pessimist.

The company will run out of money if it just continues to dig holes without generating any revenue.

We know how trigger happy Bird is with regards to issuing more shares using the placing cannon.

How disappointing CFO has wiped 7% of the share price this morning with a huge share sell-thought we were making progress in share price at last with recovering platinium price and CEO telling us how undervalued Ths is (not according to CFO actions).

What does the CFO know we don’t?
