Burnemc, the Vodafone comments were the turning point for me. Until then I could see CH as a genuine CEO trying to get the Co right, but those comments were so amateurish, I should have sold right there and never looked back. He is definitely out of his depth and be replaced by somebody understanding to create shareholder value and not be a Muppet of CC & Co. He lost my respect with those comments. Monarch

scott, the way I see it, he either didn't manage the Co correctly, something is wrong with the asset and he hasn't told us (yet) or he has simply not managed expectations correctly. All leads back to him as the CEO of AST. Here is hope... Monarch

RTN, in order to have a capable discussion, you would need to start to refrain from sentences like "you are missing the point" and maybe even looking at the point the other party is trying to make. But since it's all me me me, you will most likely keep on accusing the other party of being stupid, ignorant, low on intelligence etc... so there is really no point to have "rational discussion" with you. RTN, a NPV10 calculation is an calculation used by many financial institutions as a point of reference to value an asset. So it's not just "a couple of assumptions out of hot air". Sure, it requires some estimations and scenario cases, but then again, it's a formal way of financial assessment. Which is why i would like to see CH's of AST...to understand his inputs and scenarios to come up with the 200M of vlaue. It would allow shareholders to compare it with their own assumptions and research... Monarch

Well, being the CEO on a 200K salary, that is what i would expect to all take in consideration when doing that calculation and then talk about that number publicly. How unprofessional would i look mentioning that number and then not being able to back it up with sounds details...? Monarch

Would love for CH to share with the investors his detailed calculation of his NPV10 200M. Now that would be true transparency and a great chance for us to see how good his accounting skills are. Monarch

Thanks ian, FX. People always talk about research but i laugh at that statement. Sure, you do your research and you look at it from different angles with the information that is available in the public, but it stops there...nobody knows everything and i was almost 50% under water with the fat ladies before they announced the results which propelled it up to 3.85p. AST is no different in that perspective and i still believe in the asset with the information that is publicly available, and i check that way beyond of what CH is sharing with us. Here is hope there is other forces than the asset keeping this down... Monarch

FX, fat ladies are a different animal. Co is valued on potential which could be in the 10's of Billions, AST has a NPV10 of 200M. DW salary is 400K Aussie Dollars which isn't really a lot by Aussie standards, CH's 200K British Pounds are certainly a bigger number given the Mcap of 20M but he is also doing (kind of) 2 jobs as FD and MD. The fat ladies have all the excitement that comes with exploration while AST has all the shite that comes after ... Monarch

Rosewall, you were challenging the investor group which i helped to start by seeing how big a group it could be. You continuously called it everything it is NOT standing for and whenever people brought it to your attention, you still refused to take it for what it is. Shareholders will vote for what they believe is right for their investment and the investor group hopefully will play a role in helping investors to understand what the options and risk & opportunities are despite you are trying to make this JUST about ousting the BOD. Rosewall, you must have missed my recommendation to vote FOR CH at the AGM in order to not jeopardize the SR. See, your conspiracy theory about people only makes sense when you actually listen to what they are talking about. Monarch

Rosewall, it is all in your head when you talk about mounting a coup. A lot of people want to get a return on their investment, believe it or not, and understand that stability is a key factor at this point in time while the SR is taking place. However if the strategic review doesn't bring any fruitful outcome for shareholders, there is little benefit in going the CH route as it clearly has not been a very successful one. If the SR brings the awaited success, a lot of people will happily thank CH and CC for their marvelous work and questions will shift toward the future, however that will look like. In the absence of that, more questions will be asked...and your research abilities will be called upon again. Monarch
