stuarto, the SR has nothing to do with timelines in Slovenia. In fact, as per CH, no slovenian company is part of the potential 10 bidders. So any bidder is either right now preparing an offer to take over the company or not at all. By end of September, AST is either long sold or CH will present us with another lame excuse. Monarch

If we start now, it will take us a couple of weeks to get the 5% assured and comitted with the needed paperwork to call for the EGM. That gets us to end of August already given that its vacation period. After that we need to call for the EGM and set a date. Considering we will need to organize and discuss potential outcomes and scenarios, end September is a feasible timeline. If we dont have any outcome from the SR until then, EVERYBODY should be willing for a change. Monarch

tony, you are long enough here to know that shareholders to the tune of 10% were willing to engage in an EGM discussion...so this is clearly not just myself...but i'm willing to pit the pieces together. Last time i heard "Oh but wait, di you have somebody to take over as CEO as otherwise we would be this and that?" Now i say we potentially have one and now i hear "Oh, but he is one of your cronies". What will be the next excuse? I will go with the 10% that wanted to engage...you are certainly free not to participate as i dont want to force anything on anybody. People have different opinions and i tried to consider many by waiting...i'm done with waiting. Monarch

Flavour, it’s not rushed...quite the opposite...it’s been discussed since March. I put it on hold as SOME people asked not to interfere with the SR. Well, the SR is still ongoing (right?) and I will mobilizer the grew now to be ready end of September...I guess you‘d agree that if we don’t have any outcome from the SR, it’s a no deal?

Good to see the same 3-4 individuals putting doubt into peoples heads. Last time, we collected 10% which is more than enough so there are a lot of people out there that want the change. Again, if there is indeed a serious bidder, he will put in his bid before any EGM could destroy his plan to buy AST so I will be starting the investors group no matter what a couple of people think here. Time will be up soon for CH and CC.

EC, gas prices are not really up from winter average. It was also said that gas prices likely will remain high as inventories were low after a strong winter and will need to be replenished over the summer. Other than that, it's still all frustrating and I'm looking forward to the outcome of the SR...if no bid, this is dead. If not even the experts see value in the field and want to bid for it, why should pi's stay invested? Interesting times ahead... Monarch

parkeg, i said i agree with you on the people that post crap. BUT it's CH's own fault as he has exposed himself and the AST to this with his own behavior, wrong assumptions on timelines he has no control over, calling AST the predator instead of the prey etc. If all of that didn't happen, those people wouldn't have the ammunition to run those jokes and people that "invested their hard earned money into AST" would probably not need to listen to it. So it comes down to the mismanagement of CH.

parkeg, agree with you on the crap that is posted. However, CH has put himself more than once in a position to be the laughing stock and the reason for jokes. The difference between him and other CEO's might just be that the asset is actually worth something... Can you imagine what happens if that turns out to not be the case and he has misled shareholders there as well? We shall find out soon as if there is no offer, even a low ball offer, out of the SR, it means there is something wrong with the asset.

parkeg1, i guess we can find a good reason for everything CH has done. Fact however is that his evaluation of AST and the sp are two very different things. A CEO has an obligation to his shareholders and CH has certainly not fulfilled that obligation. It's all fine to say that the market hasn't catched up but at some point you as the CEO have to understand why and communicate to shareholders accordingly. I have not seen any of that from CH.

Disciple, generally agree, however its EURO 220k per month (so approx £190K) and the BOD's total cost are closer to £40k (all cost in).

RTN, i'm a young spring...full of energy, making excellent gains elsewhere as well and have all the patience in the world (beside my young age) to sit this out and still be happy if it doesn't come good. No risk no fun. ;-)
