Gap between Friday close and Monday open is now closed on DAX. Odd to see all gains wiped out there while FTSE and DOW are 1% up.

7200 looks like a good entry on DAX

I doubt it is what New Order were referring to when they recorded Blue Monday but the last two Monday's I have had lovely big blue numbers for breakfast.

Friday afternoons are some of the best and worst times. Remember how buoyant last Friday was? I felt crazy going short then. I feel a bit crazy being long now. What a difference a day makes.

There was a message on the other channel suggesting that creation of, or agreement to create, more dollars would cause value of those dollars to rise. I spot a fundamental flaw in that projection.

A bit under 7080...and I popped right out again just above 7090! It's a mess right now.

Double bottom in on S&P - a bounce would be nice! I just took a DAX long.

DAX seems to be building a floor at 7130. 7130 (and 5830 on FTSE) has been a pivot point the last couple of days.

A 3% drop is quite possible...

Rob, Farmer, In response to your early posts about S&P breaching 1300 last night (tho it closed just over). Here is a chart posted on Zerohedge http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/draghi/S%26P%20support.jpg which shows 1284 as the 200 day moving average and they would say that if that is broken we are going downtown to the 1250 region, as you said. Crucially, the futures trading went no lower than 1286.9 (so far, at least).

Alright - the 15 mins on DAX looks like a fab set-up.

I keep them sensible these days. Funny to think I used to go €75 or even €100 per point.

Note that S&P has kept its head above 1300 but Nikkei did not maintain 10000, closing at 9901.

It looks like DAX has bottomed at 7150. I have placed a long.

I quite fancy dipping my toe in FTSE at 5830, though another chance at 5750 would be even better. I picked up some pretty good pips this evening on a DAX short I had running.
