Be interesting to see if we gain some II's once out of suspension. The dynamic's have certainly changed and I could make a case that BP will continue to divest North Sea Assets to their preferred.... Serica. It is not beyond imagination that BP will increase its holding in Serica. Still feel Namibia is in the background... BP bought their own harsh Weather Drill Rig for Loyal/Schiehallion re drilling - wonder how busy that's going to be in the future??

Having watched FPM unload most of its UK Licences, PMG now looks like "the other half" , following a similar route to MC. Harking back to 2010, we had $105m in the bank and I had an extremely rosy feel about, Conan, Oates, Dambus, Maridsan drill prospects that were dusters. That tempered my enthusiasm somewhat, but further licences added along with Spaniards, Foom Dra and Sidi Mousa - again dusters, over the next four years. Lets not get to excited at Rowallon, much prefer an asset (BP) or discovery (Premier Arran %) purchase here!!!!!!!!!

Seem to have fooled myself with PMG up till now. With averaging down to around 40p from 50-54p I've yet again taken onboard a fairly substantial holding. FPM and SQZ have more than compensated but I still consider PMG a true contender to turn things around. Acquisitions seems to be thick and fast at present for various companies, with spin off pieces adding to the "for sale" pool. perhaps its time that Smaller E & P companies got into bed with each other, re asset purchase, as private equity seems to be snapping up the choicer morsels. Money talks. bottom drawer for me.....

Its a good word "potential" We all make rational decisions on each of our purchases. For what its worth, I hold large positions in FPM, SQZ, and PMG all debt free and potential. All supported by my hopldings in Investment trusts, which also lets me have a bit of spice, CHAR and JOG. Apart from Serica and Nautical Petroleum the tortoise Investment trusts have won hands down!!

When all the furore dies down with regard to JOG, just perhaps the wise birds will consider SQZ as a safe haven for the run up to Rowallon. We are sitting on a 40% float now so it would be nice.

With Serica going from 4p to 27p today, in the last 2 years, that's hardly dull !! But I know what you mean. Had a small holding myself in JOG (4000) but would far rather see a 10% rise in SQZ. It will come, we are just pacing ourselves

Looking back to when Columbus was discovered the first FDP was to connect to ETAP rather than Lomond. obviously things move on and perhaps no availability along that route today - but no real news on why that route was not considered anymore.

Concur with the plenty of baskets, although its easy to put to many eggs into one. I follow a similar strategy with Investment trusts and Oil E & P, with Parkmead being one of them. My sin is averaging down and ending up with a substantial holding so I am now a firm Hold on Parkmead at this level. All based on a rational decision of course!

Always trying to get movement one way or tuther. 3 out of 5 well output - any increase to full capacity will be a nice surprise later on. Quiet time now with any news further out - besides accumulating cash! happt to hold

Can't say I am not disappointed as I hold more shares than has been sold today - flat day and MM's spinning the wheel as suggested by a few on here. May have to empty my bottom drawer tomorrow - keep the faith and accumulate.

Apologies - if my long story doesn't fully pertain to Parkmead. Mr Cross admired the business model when at Dana and is now following a similar business model and strategy with PMG in the UK sector. Gone a bit awry with the recession, but I'm sitting on a quite large holding that we are now on an upward curve. GLA.

You must have been looking in my bottom drawer - PMG/SEY/CHAR/BLVN !!!!!!!!!!! Not huge holdings but its been a learning curve somewhat. PMG is like your Lottery numbers - you don't buy the ticket and its a winner - or is that gullibility
