The Company has included SweetBiotix® in a finished product for a large global partner with a view for an upcoming launch. The Company hopes to see SweetBiotix® in an increasing number of products launched throughout 2024.

The Company has received preliminary forecasts from DSM-Firmenich, one of its SweetBiotix® partners, of >100,000 metric tonne per annum. Whilst a preliminary forecast it demonstrates the scale of intent and the size of the opportunity.

Stephen O’Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix Health plc said: “We are pleased to report substantial progress over the last 12 months with our first-generation products returning to sales growth, a number of well-known corporate partners reaching agreements (e.g Tata, Brenntag,) and launching new products with major brands (MuscleTech) in new channels. As to the margin decrease as SOH noted the company bought back and sold stock at the same price from the overhang.

7 tonnes at £30000 pt would account for the decrease in margin - giving a turnover of £660000 and gp of £331,000

Completely agree lord though I’m not sure any of our agreements are watertight and even if legally enforceable not sure we would have the resources to pursue in any event - going by the large number of previous announcements made and never came to much - as we are all aware

At least their conclusion is overall positive - so lets move on without getting uptight about industry calls - it's now well past that anyway - even if it ever was about that in SOH's head - we never had the money for big studies nor ever would have - and never needed same for marketing purposes

Assuming the quarter period ends are 31 Mar 30 Jun 30 Sep and 31 Dec then the quarter to Jun royalty figure probably won't be notified to us until July and if Croda require us to raise an invoice to them (may not as i previously noted be required and hopefully that is the case) that invoice probably won't be paid until August (if we back date to June)though figure should be accounted for in our 6 mths to June accounts - hopefully croda pay royalties one month after quarter end and we just raise an internal invoice
