Yes accept that if BGC/BTG are bust I lose it all of course.Now however BGC/BTG was a pharma not a tech.Try this.Go to Selftrade.Type in BTG.It says sector pharmaceuticals.The SP now is given as 381.20.I think there is now a name change.The name AND code seem both now to be BTG while previously the name was BTG and the code was BGC..

RRR was up 39% in a week..

At RRR the rise was about 20% or so.However Jupiter in which RRR have shares has called a Trading Halt up till next Wednesday,on the Australian ASX.Must be connected ? Later I want to find out the ORIGINAL buy details for BGC/BTG from JT so I can re-jig my records for the VPF.Thanks JT for all you do.

up to minus 8% but without BGC/BTG still only 6 shares.

RRR up about a 1/3 in a week or so! Hurrah! But don't you buy it.

The non appearance of BGC/BTG here seems like an LSE glitch,we might need to contact Admin. as it is still appearing on London Stock Exchange.

Most shares are down in the last year,I've not checked every one but I believe that to be a correct statement.The situation now is not pleasant,in Germany the other day for the first time a 2 year bond was getting MINUS 0.0015% interest,in other words you PAY them to hold the bond! No-one can blame themselves for a position outside the experience of the majority of investors since the 1930's..the shares we all hold like CNR,SXX,AFE etc would be doing quite well in any normal times,but of course these aren't normal times.We expect risk and reward and ups and downs but the rewards and ups are totally absent now.Yes holding shares a number of years but keeping enough for R/L needs to last those years in cash/outside shares seems the best situation. In other words try to operate an asset based pyramid.

very well,though my luck went away after that,I had no sells from then on so didn't make any real losses,only paper ones.I still think AGQ is a very good company though.It will come good given time-you can hardly name a recovering share now anywhere, though actually AFE has gained 1p in the last week.

Admit some of that and remain sorry about it,though you know you were in quite good profit above 40p at one stage,holding on too long really.I've sold AGQ twice with good profits and also used those to mop away bad CNE losses.In 2010 to early 2011 I seemed to time all sells

JT-you might have problems today totting up my VPF-am I wrong ? I can't find BTG/BGC in my own list here anywhere.I can get news elsewhere on it up till yesterday on Google it seems.For only 6 shares my VPF is down to minus 12% now lol.

now minus 4.6% lol.But a slight rise.Elsewhere a number of pieces of good news from China,Japan,the Phillipines and shipping are noted...though again either delusions or false hopes ?
